Summary:  It was social media success that brought them all to move into this six bedroom gated mansion that had already been affectionately dubbed The Traphouse with a pool and enough space for all the antics they were sure to get up to.

Being a Viner himself, Harry had known all the guys for a long time. There were a lot of million plus follower creators that Harry had come to know during the app’s peak. Vine for reVine had initially started their relationships and running in the same circles had them bumping into each other at events and even meeting up for a collab or two here and there. Harry deciding to move to LA had been perfect timing for him to be roped into this project that was only just beginning.

They’d come together and they were all on the same page. They would treat the house as a set, all of them filming their videos both together and on their own. It was a social experiment that was already proving successful. With only tweets and Instagram posts about the house and roommates, Harry’s following had already started to grow. It was an exciting time for all of them and Harry was lucky enough to be right in the middle of it.

One house, five YouTubers, and the unexpected results.

The house was already hectic and chaotic and it had only been an hour since the last box was unloaded from the last of the five cars parked out front.  It was to be expected with five rising social media stars who also happened to be young men barely out of their parent’s houses.

Zayn was already in his room with his headphones on, editing in the small space he’d already set up around his boxes.  Liam and Louis were loudly bickering over which room was theirs even though they were identical bedrooms only mirrored with a shared bathroom in between.  Niall was blaring punk music from the stereo system that was half set up on the empty floor of the tv room while riding a penny board around the open floor plan of the main floor, dodging boxes and random furniture that had yet to find its place.

And Harry, Harry was overwhelmed and just taking it all in.  It was a stark contrast to his quiet room back in the midwest where he’d lived with his family.  Even temporarily crashing on Louis and Liam’s couch for a month before they could move in had been relatively quiet.  In retrospect, that had probably been because the duo had been out traveling to film for their channel half of Harry’s time so far in LA.  Harry hadn’t been just loafing around either.  Coming to LA to make a go of his social media and dancing career meant that there were a lot of connections that Harry needed to make and a lot of ducks he needed to get into a row.

He’d used some of his savings for some time in a practice space and had been scouting out an agent willing to take a chance on him.  So far he hadn’t been successful, but he hadn’t made such a big move to give up so easily.  Plus being invited to move into this house was already a big opportunity.
