CHAPTER 2

Armin's point of view:

The day went by as usual, getting A's on nearly every subjects a few bullying here and there, and some odd looks from students.

I sighed well its for our own good though, its better to hide our real identity than getting use by someone else. Getting called names hurt at first but i slowly got use to them. Hange and Levi also experience the same things not just me, Eren, and Mikasa.

Walking outside near the parking lot, i saw a few crowd of people circling someone. I decided to not get involved since they might come for me, i started to walk away but something kept on nagging me to go there. I hesitate at first, but i ran back.

I push through a few people to get in the middle and i saw...Annie, my blood started to boil with anger, her too?! Why cant this people just leave all of us alone! She doesn't deserve to be treated like this. "Hey! Stop that!" I yelled getting their attention, their leader turned their heads to me. "Well well it isn't the weakling Armin" they started, but i didn't pay attention to what they call me. She looks at me surprise but it went away quickly replaced with fear, "Why do you always bully us? Now you'll bully her too, what did she do to you?" I ask clenching my knuckles, Annie ran to me holding my arm trying to stop me from attacking them.

"Armin stop, you'll get hurt" she pleaded desperately, i tryed not to listen to her. Their started to get angry preparing to fight, "Just stop it!" I yelled pulling Annie away from the crowd, they didn't try and follow us so i continued walking.

"Armin I'm sorry you had to get involved" she said as she look down ashamed, i didn't reply just continued walking until we reach my car. I opened the door for her and she got in before me, i instructed the driver to just drop us off the park.

The ride to the park was mostly silent, she tried talking but i didn't listen to her. I was blinded by rage.

The driver informed us once we arrived, i got out opening the door for Annie. "You can park here if you want" i suggested before walking away pulling Annie gently with me.

We search for a bench to sit on, once we found one i slum down instantly. I signaled her to sit next to me, she was hesitant at first just gave in.

There was nothing but utter silence between us, i look at her from time to time but she never looks at me, her focus mainly on her shoes.

Time passes once more, i look at the setting sun once in a while. Wind blows rustling of the bushes and birds chirping.
I barely get any breaks in a day this is calming.

"Armin I'm sorr-" cutting her off by putting a finger on her lips, she seems surprise and looks away embarrassed.
Being honest i should be the one getting embarrassed of my actions.

"Look i want to say sorry that i ignored you and maybe even brought you here without your permission" i admitted, i feel somewhat bad for doing that, but i just needed to get her away from people who hurt her.

We started to talk right after that, getting to know each other more. I thought things would be awkward and uncomfortable after we bumped into each other, but it just feels natural talking to her like we've known each other for years.

"Wait- do you even have friends while growing up?" I ask astonished since she barely leaves the house and was home schooled all her life. "Hmm? Yeah of course i do, but there's only a few of them" she replied and continued telling me about more of her childhood.
