Annabeth's POV

I turn away for one dam second and this idiot ran away. I can't believe he ran away he really needs to read into some of the laws .

I run over to drop off the boys off at home then I texted our other friends telling them to meet me at Sally's place .

As we do the cops are still there talking to her we run in as the cops asked if we seen Percy cause he's wanted for questioning .

I sigh softly but I don't tell them I did cause I care about Percy a lot maybe to much okay I'm in love with him . But I don't want him in a jail cell so I just lie . 

"No I haven't seen him I just got a bad feeling something happened so I texted our friends to meet me here . What happened officer?"

" Well he's wanted for the murder of his step father Gabe Ugliano, if you see him or if he contacts you please call me immediately." I just nod as they leave I look at Sally.

" Sally why didn't you tell them it was self defense?" She cries a bit " I tried but they didn't believe me, they said it wasn't cause if his trouble past , of getting in trouble and kicked out of school in the past ."

I cry a bit as I hug her softly " He's going to be fine he's a smart and strong kid Sally okay ." She nods as we sit down and wait for something.

Then I remember where he can be hiding at . Me and him went there often by ourselves cause it was hidden to everyone, we found it by mistake one year after pulling a prank on Clarissa and her siblings .

After a while of staying with sally we all leave but I don't go home I go straight to mines and Percy's hideout.

As I get there I go inside and sees him in the corner of of the room crying a bit .

" Percy ? "

He turns to me as he wipes his eyes " Annabeth is my mom okay ? Am in in trouble?"

I shake my head" Your mom is fine but the cops want you in for questioning please come in and tell them why ."

He nods as we head to the police station as I was driving he looked over at me " He threatened to kill you if you ever came over again that's the other reason I did it Annabeth . I couldn't let that happen cause well I'm in love with you "

I stop the car as we pulled up to the station as he said he loved me I kissed him deeply.

" I love you too perce" he smile as we go inside .

5 years later

It's been five years since Gabe died , also Percy and me started dating now we're getting married today .
I'm so happy
