Coffee shop of love (AU)

Annabeth's POV

While I was walking home from a horrible date I go into my favorite mom and pop coffee shop. I smile softly as I see the guy at the front taking orders he had Raven black hair , sea green eyes that looked like the ocean.

I slowly walk up to him " Hi where's Sally Jackson Blofis?" I look at him as I alway come here and she's always here

" oh my mom just gave birth to my new baby sister Estelle I'm just running the shop for mom until she's able to get back to work . I'm Percy Jackson by the way . What's your name ? And what may I get you ?" I smiled softly as I look at Sally's son Percy .

" Annabeth Chase and may I have a hot chocolate and Sally's famous blue chocolate chip cookies?"

He nods softly " Are you okay ? You look like you just had a horrible date ." I sigh softly as I nod while he made my hot chocolate.

" How can you tell ?" He looks at me handing me the cup and the cookie." Cause your eyes are kinda puffy like you were crying." I laugh softly wiping my eyes as I look up at him " yeah it was bad he just stood me up again."

I looked down softly tearing up I wipe my eyes and looked back up to see Percy frowning " Why would some do that to you? Your very beautiful any guy would be lucky to have you." He smiles softly as I blush

Then a girl with choppy brown hair walks out from the kitchen and yells at Percy ." Percy stop flirting with the customers." I get scared a bit is that his girlfriend ? She walks up to me and smiles " Sorry about my older brother here he's sometimes an idiot . Was he bothering you? Oh I'm Piper " I shake my head ." I'm Annabeth . Not at all quite the opposite he was making me feel better after a horrible date ." She nods then looks at us both and smiles then whispers into his ear.

He looked at her with a are you sure look she just nodded then he looked at me " So Annabeth would you like to maybe go out on a date after my shift I have like 30 minutes left ." I nod softly and smiles " that would be nice we can have it here if you want ." He smiles while nodding " sounds great to me ."

I smile as I sat down and wait for Percy I see him walks towards me with a hot chocolate and some cookies " Here you go Annabeth." I smile as I take it " Thank you so Percy how come I never see you here when your mom worked here ?" I smile and drinks my hot chocolate.

" I am here it's just I'm usually studying in the back or putting the cookies to bake ."

" What are you studying for ?" I look at him as I take a bite out of my cookie

" Oh Marine Biology I was always interested in the ocean since I was a little kid . What about you ?" I smile as I look into his eyes " I'm going to school for architect just like my mom she was one before she passed away."

He smiles sadly and holds my hand softly rubbing it " I'm sorry for your loss I bet it's hard not having a mom I can't imagine life without my mom ." I nod as we sit there and talk all night as we enjoy each other's company

After closing time Percy puts his jacket on me so I won't get cold as he walks me to my car " So how was this date ?" He chuckled softly looking down at me as we hold hands

" way better than the one I got stood up at " I stand on my tiptoes and place a light kiss on his lips " I'll call you ." I smile and head in my car as I head home. Leaving him there stand completely shocked and blushing like an idiot.
