Ruby

( the characters Percabeth are about to meet are my two original characters. This will also be a two part story.)

Annabeth's POV

While having a small date at the park with Percy I turn to hear two people arguing. I think they're a couple! " Ruby I'm telling you the truth he's cheating on you."

Oh I guess they're friends."should we listen?" Percy whispers as I nod wanting to hear what happens next.

" Carmelo! He won't do that you're just jealous!" Ruby says back a bit loud with tears in her eyes." I'm not jealous." Carmelo screams back." You know I never lie, unless it's to help someone. Axle is a cheating bastard and he's just using you for your money. Can you stop being stupid snd just see that?"

I look over whispering to Percy " Do you feel.." Percy finishes what I was about to say." That they secretly love each other? Yes ." We then turn over hearing a slap and sees that Ruby slapped Carmelo in the face.

I get up a bit seeing Carmelo grab his cheek looking at Ruby thinking he's going to hit back but insteadI see a pained look in his face." I HATE you, Axle was right about you Carmelo. He told me you'll do anything to break us up." Ruby tells him as she starts to cry.

Me and Percy look at each other then at the two probably former friends." I'm just trying to protect you Ru. But if you want it to be like that fine." He starts to walk off then stops turning towards her." Once you figure out the truth you know where to find me." As he walks off I nudge Percy." What?" I whisper." Follow him make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." He nods and follows slowly.

I look over then sees Ruby standing there then walks to a tree and sits down to cry, after a couple of minutes I walk over and sits down." Everything okay?" She looks over towards me with puffy light blue eyes and shakes her head." No! I just hurt my best friend, I'm the worst." She just cries and puts her head between her knees." And worst part is we had an argument in public."

I gently rubs her back softly." I know this is inappropriate for me to ask but how long have you two know each other? Also I'm Annabeth Chase."

Ruby wipes her tears a bit and looks over." Since we were in the same daycare. It's nice to meet you Annabeth. My name is Ruby... well you probably heard Carmelo yell it while we were arguing." She whimpers a bit as she cries. " You love him don't you?" She looks over blushing." Now I mean he's my best friend and I 'love' Axle... do I ?"

She looks at me as I just shrug." My auntie always told me Love is a strange and wonderful thing. It can take you ages to find your true love. But the truest of love is the person who you knew the longest."

Cringes a bit as I think I butchered Aphrodites quote." But thing is I can tell he truly loved you by the way he looked hurt when you yelled and slapped him." I can see her think a bit then grabs her phone as it's ringing.

" It's Axle. What do I do?" She whispers as I gently take her phone and answers it as it was a bit dial I look over as she cries a bit harder proving that Carmelo was telling the truth." I have to find Carmelo." She gets up fast almost falling as I catch her." Woah I got you. Don't worry I sent my idiot boyfriend to find him."

She looks at me and says" that's a bit of a problem." She laughs a bit still crying." Carmelo's a bit of an idiot also when I'm not near him." My eyes widen as she said that Oh shit.

Ruby's POV

Me and Annabeth start  look around the whole city trying to find the two boys as I sniffle a bit and wraps Carmelo's jacket around me as he gave it to me before our argument." Can't you call Um Percy right?" Annabeth shakes her head" no he lost his phone. Can't you call Carmelo?"

She sighs and takes her phone out." He might reject my call." I look over as she takes her phone out which looks weird and grabs my phone." I can call him." She puts his number in and hits the call button

As she does we hear his phone ring I look down and takes his phone out of the pocket of his jacket "Oh fuck."

I sigh a bit and look's around." I know a place we can stay at for now Ruby. If I know Percy he'll be there after he finds or is done doing what's he's doing with Carmelo." I just nod and follow her to a nice cozy house that she says is Percy's mom's house.

Carmelo I'm so sorry please be safe. I'm sorry for everything,I should've believed you. I sigh and take a sip of blue hot chocolate that Mrs.Sally made.

Then it hit me, I'm in love with Carmelo and I hurt him.
