Y/N:
I looked up as I heard someone blowing a horn and saw that we approached a camp lined with red and yellow tents.
"Where are we?" Susan asked as we looked around.
Mr. Beaver chuckled, "This, friends, is Aslan's camp," He boomed.
I smiled, feeling warmer as I looked around at the various creatures guarding the camp. Centaurs, Bears, Fauns, and more stopped to watch us as we walked by.
I looked around, smiling at the creatures I made eye contact with. Most of them smiled back, except for the most intimidating guards.
Behind us, the ones that we passed began to follow us. I looked back at the creatures and glanced at Lucy, who was beaming.
"Why are they all staring at us?" Susan asked.
Lucy looked at her sister, "Maybe they think you look funny." Lucy joked, and I giggled along with Lucy and Peter. Susan scoffed and playfully shook her head.
We approached the only red and yellow striped tent at the end of the camp. A giant centaur guarded the tent, and he looked at us as we came.
We stopped, never breaking eye contact with the unfamiliar creature. The ring of Peter's sword sliding out of his sheath pierced my ears. He held it in front of him, pointing to the sky as a salute to the centaur, "We have come to see Aslan," He stated, the nervousness bubbling in his throat. The crowd began whispering.
The centaur said nothing, instead looking at the entrance to the tent as there was rustling. The four of us focused on the tent as it flapped in the breeze.
I glanced behind me and saw everyone kneeling, including the centaur guard. My face contorted to confusion as I turned back to face the tent.
A tender but large paw stepped out of the tent. I parted my lips in awe as The legendary Lion, Aslan, exited the tent. I breathed out, a breeze of chills overcoming my body as I realized this was reality. I snapped myself out of amazement and bowed to him, followed by the rest of the group.
"Welcome, Peter, Son of Adam," Aslan's deep voice boomed, "Welcome, Susan, Lucy, and Y/N, Daughters of Eve," He turned to the Beavers, "And welcome to you, Beavers. You have my thanks," He paused, looking back at us, "But where is the fifth?"
Peter stood up, and I and his sisters followed his lead, "That's why we're here, sir. We need your help," Peter said, sheathing his sword.
"We had a little trouble along the way," Susan added.
My eyes teared up as I remembered why we were here, "Edmund's been captured by the White Witch," I blurted out.
"Captured? How could this happen?" Aslan asked.
"H-He betrayed him, Your Majesty," Mr. Beaver said, earning murmurs from the crowd behind us.
"Then he has betrayed us all!" The centaur guard stated.
Aslan growled quietly, "Peace, Orius," He said, "I'm sure there's an explanation."
I stepped forward, "Your Majesty, he was put under a spell by the Witch. I went with him to the Witch's castle. But I managed to escape,," I confessed, "I went with him because I suspected something was wrong. Now I realized I should've taken his place as her captive."
Peter paused, "It's my fault, really," He glanced at me sympathetically, "I was too hard on him," He commented.
Susan touched his shoulder, looking at him before shifting her gaze back to the Lion, "We all were," She added.
