Chapter 5

Y/N's P.O.V

That's it. My mission starts from now. Bye bye my old self, It's time for a new Y/N.

"Hello? Miss Y/N?" Kim Taehyung spoke and I just stood there taking a minute to stare at his beauty.

"I know I'm handsome but you shouldn't stare at a person like this when you first meet them, it feels creepy. Didn't your parents teach you good manners?" he blabbered.

I paused, processing what he just said.

"Parents you say, only if I had them" I whispered.

"Did you say something?" he asked maybe sensing that I said something bad about him.

"Umm... no! I said I'm sorry" I did not argue. I don't know when his mood might change and he might not give me this job and I dearly wanted this job so that I can succeed in my mission.

"Ok so you are hired. You'll start from today. Take these papers and go to that office. Jin hyu- I mean Jin, my assistant will help you. Now go." He pointed towards an office which was parallel to his office. He'll be watching me every minute. I will not be able to rest for even a minute.

Why me?!

Wait!

"Thank you sir. But you didn't take my interview. I wonder why?" I spoke because I was shocked and curious. I remember Jimin saying me that even if it would take a whole day, Taehyung would not skip any interview. Anyways who knows what's going on in his mind.

"You don't need to know that. Just start doing your work." I nodded and went out of the office and found Jimin talking with a boy. I approached them and greeted.

"Hi Y/N! Did your interview go well? Btw let me introduce you to Jin hyung. He is Taehyung's assistant. Maybe he'll help you with your work. And Jin hyung, she is Y/N, my bestfriend. Jimin introduced me to that person named Jin. Well he's got pretty good visuals. I appreciate.

"Yahh! Jimin you didn't introduce me nicely! Let me introduce me myself. Hi! I am WWH, worldwide handsome, Jin. Nice to meet you!" he introduced himself with a big smile plastered on his face.

"Hi Mr. Jin! I am Y/N, your junior. I promise I will do well, just trust me." I spoke proudly bowing him with a perfect ninety degrees bow.

"O my holy god! Don't call me Mr.Jin, that makes me feel so old-" he was speaking but got interrupted.

"Which you are, Jin hyung" Jimin whispered and chuckled.

"I heard that" Jin told him after which Jimin became quit.

"Anyways Y/N don't call me Mr.Jin. Call me Jin oppa" he smiled. Why is his smile so innocent? I smiled back after which he led me to my office. My office was huge. I didn't expect it to be this big at all.

"Y/N, you can start your work by listing the names of people who left their job from our company this year" He handed me a very thick file and went out of the office. I started doing my work.

"Ok so...Lee Yoonbin, Kang Hanseul, Park Jihyo.......Park Jihyo? Feels like I've heard this name before. I've met a lot of people maybe she was one of them, anyways let me complete my work fast." I said concentrating on my work.

"Phew...done!" I exclaimed happily as I completed my work real fast. Suddenly I felt a shadow behind me from which I actually got a bit scared. But when I turned back, I was star struck watching the figure in front of me. It was Kim Taehyung. He was staring in my eyes like he will pierce through it.

"Ahem.....sir you wanted something?" I asked breaking the eye contact.

"Yes. I want to know what are the meetings I have to attend today" He said still looking into my eyes. His voice....it feels sad and.....innocent.

"You could've called me through intercom. Anyways let me tell you the meetings you have today. The first meeting is with the CEO of LMC(Lee Motors and Cars) and then you will have a break. After the break you will have a meeting with Mr. Bang Si Hyuk. And......that's it! Your meetings list for today ends here." I said shuffling the papers up and down.

"Thanks. Take this, you haven't eaten anything since you started working." He handed me a packet of doughnuts and went out.

Oh I love doughnuts!

I was about to eat my doughnut when suddenly someone snatched the doughnut away from me and started munching it.

"Park Jimin! That was my doughnut! Why do you always snatch my snacks?!?! You dare do that again. My gun is ready" I threatened him.

"Ok ok I understand. Anyways how is the first day of your mission going?" he asked me continuing to eat the doughnut he had snatched from me.

"Good till now, but I don't know about what will happen in future. My first step to his destruction is making him trust me. After he blindly trusts me everything will be in my control." I said while he just kept nodding his head. I could see sorrow in his eyes.

"You're hesitating on the plan of killing him, aren't you?" I asked while he kept quite.

"I........just don't feel like he deserves all this" he said sadly.

"What do you mean Jimin?! You know what he and his fuckin' dad did to my parents right?! They tortured them like there was no tomorrow. And then.....finally killed them. I remember really well, he being a small boy helped his dad to kill my parents. Plus I promised my parents that I will kill those bastards at any costs. My parents will get justice. I killed his dad already a few years back, and now it's time for him to pay for his deeds." I spoke with tears rolling down my cheeks.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. It's just that he looks innocent. Maybe you had a misunderstanding." He said consoling me which didn't work at all.

"But I clearly remember him. Anyways let's not talk about him. Gotta go byeeee" I said and rushed outside wiping the tears on my cheek so that no one notices that I cried.

I went up towards the terrace to find some peace only to hear someone crying. I approached that figure and realised that it was a girl.

"Excuse me" I said to grab her attention.

It was Im Nayeon. The receptionist. But the question is why was she crying?
