Officer Ren looked over at all of us.
"I'm sorry kids but there isn't much we can do at this hour. Courthouse is closed there is no judge in until Monday morning."
The tone he used was upset to say the least. This point he can see how desperate they had been to save me.

"Please? Can I just go back home to my grandfathers?" My eyes started to tear up as I looked at the officers. The pity in their eyes as the shook their heads no.

It was crushing, am I going to be doomed to be at the mercy of the system that continues to fail me. I wish my previous timeline was real this was way to much for me at this point. I can't continue this way. I failed here I'm worthless, a failure. I couldn't save Shinichiro, Kazutora was still sent to prison and here I am stuck in a system that is failing me.

I ran. I pushed past everyone and continued running. I didn't know where I was running to but I was running as far and fast as I could.

Baji was the first person to get up from being pushed down to chase after me. He was probably the fastest out of everyone else. As he lunged forward to try and catch up; Mitsuya bike was heard behind him. "Get on"
Baji didn't hesitate he jumped on behind him as they continued after me.

I had been dodging cars and turning ally's to lose everyone. Not that running away from Kyo and them was my plan. I didn't have one. I just didn't want to be taken to the teen home.

I ran forever it felt as I hoped I lost everyone.

Sweat dripping from my face as I panted.
"You're a pain you know that?"

My eyes welled with tears as I threw my arms around him.

"Baji" I sobbed.
"Don't run away from us!" Mitsuya scolded. His eyes filled with worry.
"I'm sorry." Baji let me go and I was pulled in tightly by that lilac haired boy.

"We have to go. We can't sit to long. I don't know if they're still looking for you"

"I'll stay behind, as if I'm still looking for her. Then I'll tell everyone in person that you guys found a place to hide Kay"

"Baji are you sure?" Mitsuya lilac eyes looked over at the other boy who heart belonged to me.
"Yes go" he nodded and ran off the opposite direction.

"Let's go.." Mitsuya extended his hand helping me on his bike. I pulled my hood up covering my hair and put a mask on to cover the rest of my face.

"I might have a place to hide but you have to trust me"
"Trust you? Is this place dangerous?"
"Yes. Probably."
"I trust you."

He squeezed my hands around his waist tightly "okay. It will be alright there"

We drove down back streets and ally ways to avoid being seen by the cops. Until we got to a abandoned building. The lot was empty, as we slowly continued on behind a wall I saw a group of bike posted to the side.
"Okay we're here" he said lowly.
I shivered looking at the building. It looked pretty creepy. As we stopped and parked a man came from the door.
"Who are you?" They demanded.
"Toman. Im Mitsuya. I need to talk to your captain."

"You do hu? And why should I let you in here just cause you say that. We have business with you?" His tone was more aggressive and pretty intimidating especially for me.

"No it's nothing like that not at all. My captain is Manjiro Sano. Shinichiro little brother."
The guy at the door gulped and started to act nervous "oh uh i didn't know. I am sorry. Please come in" he held the door open for us as we got off the bike and walked inside. The first room we walked into was gray dirty and dull. It was also empty other then a table and chairs near the door.

"Please follow me. The boss is in the back." We entered through a second door. This leading to a red carpet covered floor. The scent of cigarettes filled my nose as we continued. The sound of guys bickering could be heard and a rustling as well. (Gambling)
"You cheated!"
"Counting aren't you?"
I heard as we finally met the eyes of these other guys.

"Where the hell you think you're going?" A very large man yelled towards us.
"They are here to see the boss. They're on the behalf of Shinichiro." The room fell silent. His name put them in a somber mood.

What the fuck is going on?

I thought as we continued walking to the last door red and black leather covering it.

"He's back there"
The guy popped his head through the door and explained who was here to see him.

"Okay let them in!"

"Takashi Mitsuya! It's been awhile hasn't it?"
"Yes it has been."
"It's nice to see you. You look well. What is it I can do for you?" He eyed me a little as he spoke to Mitsuya.

He was tall. He had a scar that ran up and down on his right side from his forehead to his top lip. His slicked back black and blonde and a lit cigarette in his mouth. As he listened he let out a puff a smoke.

"I know this is out of our jurisdiction and uncalled for but Kay here is Kyo Nagito little sister."
"Ahh Kyo! Its been awhile since I have heard about Kyo as well. Look at you bringing back all the old memories."
"I apologize if that is rude to do so."
"No rude is not even a thought. Kyo was a good friend. A good fighter too.. so Kay you said?"
I nodded "yes." I bowed in front of him

"hello. It's nice to meet you"
"Such a kind girl. What is it I can do for you two?"

"Kyo and Kay's mother started dating this man Ray."
The man's face turned into a scowl "I know the shit bag!"

Mitsuya went on to explain everything from start to finish of the problems with Ray and my mother and how the cops where going to take me to a teen home.

"Ahhh my dear Kay. It's been a tough time lately hasn't it? You must be the girl Shinichiro was contacting me about before he was attacked."
I bit my lower lip at the thought of what had happened. Damnit Kazutora!

"How rude of me. My name is Akashi Takeomi. The president of the Black Dragons."
