"Deucalion" Scott answered. The name of a crazy, blind, alpha werewolf. There's four words I will never use in the same sentence again.
"You're kidding me right?" I asked offering Scott and Isaac a hand up. He shook his head, no.
"We can deal with that later" Scott said. "How did you get past them?" Scott asked like I had just flown to the moon.
"They're stupid. I could see what they were doing when I turned my head so I just avoided their grasp and ducked. It was easy" I shrugged as if it were nothing, although I knew what I had just done was pure awesomeness."I've never heard anyone describe surviving a mega alphas attack as easy, especially for a human" Scott replied. "It was pretty cool wasnt it?" I asked already knowing the answer.
"It was amazing." Isaac stated as he grabbed his bag from the floor.
"Are you going home?" Scott asked as we finally got out of the school. I nodded to answer him. "Wanna a ride?" I nodded again.
"Is this our thing? you taking me to and from school? Because I love you bike" I stated as I sat on the seat.
"It could be" Scott laughed.
"Where are you going Isaac?" I asked before Scott started the engine.
"Back to Derek's loft. I live there with him." He shrugged.
"Oh okay. I'll see you tomorrow then" I said not knowing what else to say. "See you tomorrow" he repeated.-
I didn't talk on the way home. Partly because it was hard to speak with all the wind in my face and partly because I didn't really know what to say.
When we pulled up in Scott's driveway I jumped off straight away. "What a day huh?" I asked. It had been quite an eventful day after everything had happened.
"What a day" Scott repeated.
"Thanks for taking me home and everything" I thanked him as I was about to cross the road.
"You need to stop thanking me" Scott laughed. He walked to his door as I walked to mine.I was stood out side looking through my bag for my keys. I finally came to the conclusion that I had left them inside the house. My mom was at work until the morning and I left my keys at home AND it was now raining. Great.
I did the only thing I could think of and ran across the wet road to Scott's house. I knocked twice before Scott answered the door.
"Hey what are you doing it's pouring outside!" Scott said pushing me into his house.
"I sort of locked myself of out my house and my moms at work until the morning and it's raining and this was the only place else I had to go" I rambled on."It's fine. C'mon upstairs." Scott instructed. I followed him up into his bedroom.
"Scott who was the door? Oh hi clara" Melissa greeted as she poked her through the door. I waved and smiled at her. After Melissa left, which was after my brief explanation of why i was at her house, Scott sighed and fell onto his bed.
"I'm so exhausted from everything" he said.
"I know the feeling" i mumbled although I knew he could hear me.
"So do you have a place to stay tonight?" He asked sitting up. I shook my head.
"You can stay here, if you want" he offered.
"Are you sure? I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable" I said.
"I'm sure it's not a problem, you can stay in the guest bedroom" Scott said standing up. I stood up from his bed as well. "You can out your bag in there and stuff" he said nodding towards my bag and walking out of the room. I took this as my cue to follow. We walked into a room with the same size and layout of Scott's room except if was untouched. "Thanks for this Scott." I thanked again.
-
Scott and I talked in his room for most of the night, joking, laughing and just generally talking.
We were talking about whether we are dog people or cat people when there was a knock on Scott's bedroom door.
