A/n: I'm sorry I haven't updated in forever but I've had a severe case of writers block. But... Thank you all for the support that's you've given me and so here's an update dedicated to TestingMyFlesh for being awesome and reminding me to update (despite it being short and not the best).
oh and I remembered how I wanted to end the book and now I'm super excited! After the whole ordeal with the riddles, Isaac carried me into his bedroom where I quickly fell asleep, only to be woken up to get ready for school. So after sneaking back into my house, I got dressed and made my way to school.
For me, school was uneventful but for Scott and Stiles it was most definitely eventful. Stiles had an episode of not knowing if he was dreaming or not which lead to Scott having to convince him that everything was real and then calming him down afterwards.
After that, Kira was attacked by a coyote who just happened to be Malia and she was trapped in the locker room before Scott ran in and saved the day as he usually does.
After the coyote attack, we made our way to the animal clinic where we devised a plan to turn Malia back into an actual person, which would probably end up complicating things even more especially if we had to teach her how to be a person afterwards.
"Xylazine. It's a tranquilizer for horses. For a werecoyote, expect it to work within seconds. I only have three. So whoever's shooting, needs to be a damn good shot." Deaton explained as he set three little bottles filled with a clear liquid on the table.
"Alison's a perfect shot" Scott said confidently despite Allisons minor aiming issues at the moment. By minor I mean she couldn't hit anything and almost shot Lydia.
"She used to be" Isaac voiced my thoughts as I squeezed his hand. "She can do it" Scott said just as confidently as the first time, having complete faith in the girl.
"If we manage to find the thing" Isaac pointed out. Despite his complete lack of faith in us and his pessimistic attitude, he did have a point.
"Okay, what is the point of him? Seriously, I mean, what is his purpose? Aside from the persistent negativity and the scarf? What's up with the scarf anyway? It's 65 degrees out." Stiles said, agitation evident in his voice. I elbowed stiles in the ribs, stopping him from saying anything else to Isaac.
"Look, maybe I'm asking a question no one here wants to ask. How do we turn a coyote back into a girl, when she hasn't been a girl for eight years?" Isaac asked, careful not to annoy stiles anymore. Again, Isaac did have a point.
All of a sudden, my head started pounding. I didn't make a sound, careful not to disturb the others conversation as I watched the scene unfold in my head.
Isaac was running through the woods obviously going faster than a normal human would. It was broad daylight and there was a slight breeze passing through the leaves surrounding us. Isaac kept running despite my request for him to slow down as I trailed behind him.
However, he kept running, and that's when he made his mistake. Isaac had stepped on a bear trap, and with the speed he was going, he couldnt stop. The sides of the trap flew upwards, clamping onto Isaac's leg mid run.
He let out a pained yell before the vision faded.
••••
The second the vision ended, I let out an ear-splitting scream. The pain that had suddenly appeared in my leg was unbearable. Everyone at present in the room stared at me with wide eyes for a second before springing to action and trying to find the cause of my pain.
I could feel the blood starting to seep out of my leg, out of a wound I didn't know I had. And then it hit me. It wasn't my wound, it was Isaac's. I was feeling what I he felt in my vision.
Stiles noticed the blood on my leg as I was lifted onto the metal table in the middle of the room.
"How did this happen? You were literally just standing there, staring off into space" Stiles said as he looked around at the others in the room.
"It's not my injury" I managed to gasp out. The searing pain hadn't subsided at all and it was beginning to feel unbearable. Little black dots started to appear and I knew I would pass out eventually.
I could feel Isaac take a step closer to me as he placed his hand over mine, carefully. Black veins started to appear up his arm as I felt the pain subside, but I could see it was hurting him as much as it hurt me.
"Isaac stop" I whispered but he didn't remove his hand so I quickly detached myself from him. I could hear Scott questioning Deaton on how to help but not even Deaton knew what was happening.
It felt like I was a million miles away as my eyes started to close and I knew it wouldn't be long before I blacked out completely.
Somehow I knew that I wouldn't be passing out just from the pain, but from something else as well; I felt drained mentally and physically which was understandable considerable the drama that revolved around Beacon Hills and my friends. We had defeated a pack of alpha werewolves and a psychotic Druid but it still wasn't over.
Now my friends and to defeat the demons that lived in themselves which in a way isolated them from the rest of the pack because we couldn't help them if we couldn't get to what they were fighting- we can't get inside their minds.
And on top of it all, Scott wants to go coyote hunting in a forest filled with bear traps.
Before the exhaustion could finally take over my body, I caught Isaac's attention (which wasn't hard considering he was looking at me with a very concerned expression on his face).
"Don't go t-" I managed to whisper but I never managed to finish the sentence as my eyes finally closed and my body shut down, slumping against the table whilst the people around me were still in panic over my now collapsed state.
