Lilith arrived at the market early in the morning, making her rounds as she kept an eye out for both Mal and Jay.
She avoided all kinds of pleasantries, only swiping small objects that could fit in her pockets that might be useful during their search for the Dragon Eye.
Mal mentioned wanting to swing by the Athenaeum of Evil, so she made sure to swipe some tarot cards from Mad Madam Mim. There's no way Facilier would let them in without some kind of bargain or deal. Luckily, that was Lilith's specialty.
Her eyes lit up as she finally noticed the dark haired thief and the dark fairy.
"Took you long enough to show up," Mal scoffed slightly once she spotted Lilith.
But as the other girl showed the tarot cards, Mal's bad mood seemed to dissapear. "Good thinking," She said.
"What do you two have?" Lilith asked them, Jay showing he had some bug spray and some knives. Nothing too much.
Mal and Jay started arguing after Jay asked how sure she was about it all. Jay started out asking questions and Mal's frustration turned it into an arguement as they talked about how Diablo could have been brought back to life.
"Well, maybe there's a hole in the dome, or something," Mal hissed, much to Jay's disbelief.
"A hole?" He scoffed.
"Maybe some moron in Auradon bumped against the wand or something, let's just focus on getting that thing before thinking about how that thing sparked to life," Lilith sighed heavily, fed up with the squabbling already.
Suddenly a fourth voice joined them, asking if they're talking about a hole in the dome.
The trio turned to the source of the voice, coming face to face with Evie.
"Why, Evie! You're just the person I've been looking for," Mal said, voice sickingly sweet.
Jay opened his mouth to question it but Lilith put a hand in front of his mouth. "Don't waste our time asking dumb questions."
Mal smirked slightly at the statement, turning back to Evie with a sweet facade. "Now, what were you saying about the dome?"
"Nothing," Evie said, obviously distrusting of them.
Lilith sighed softly as Jay removed her hand from his mouth, trying to make Evie talk by threatening that Mal would curse her.
"If you haven't noticed, there's no magic on this island." Evie huffed, not impressed at the poor attempt.
Mal took the blue haired princess by her arm, whispering quietly to her about how they should let bygones be bygones.
For Evie's sake, Lilith hoped the blue princess wasn't naive enough to think it was sincere. But apparently it was intriguing enough for her to comply.
But right at that moment the Evil Queen burst out of one of the nearby shops, wearing a jet-black velour sweat suit with QUEEN embroidered on the back of it.
She ran towards the group, announcing that she had some new eyeshadow for her daughter but she skipped to a sudden halt as she saw Evie wasn't alone.
The evil queen's eyes widened as she noticed Mal. "How are you, dear? How's your mother? Is she here? Is she still mad at me?"
Mal blinked slowly, not quite sure what to say as the Evil queen nervously stammered on.
"Tell your mother to come around and see me sometime. I'd be happy to give her a makeover! I've seen her photos in the paper. She's looking a bit green lately. She needs a stronger foundation,"
