When her sneeze startled Asmodeus, Lilith quickly apologized to the previously napping cat. "I'm blaming the others for this," she muttered, wrapping the blanket tighter around herself. The Gothel girl had absolutely no plans of going outside, not in her current state.
Thanks to the fact that she fell into the sea and couldn't have a good change of clothing until she got home, she caught a cold, to her great annoyance. Not only does it refine her to her room, her only company being her cat and the noise of Gothel's constant complaining, it also prevented her from having fun.
She didn't exactly expect anyone to show up, after all. Usually when she's sick, Ginny stayed by her side for the most part of the day. Maybe Carlos and Evie sometimes dropping in, but there was no way that was gonna happen now.
Sure, she did grew much closer with the pirate crew, but in no way did she expect them to show up.
The girl peaked out of the window corner, trying to see how busy the Slop shop was. No way she'd let someone see her while she's sick, but she had no one who'd get her something to eat. Not that her mother would in the first place-But even Gothel was at the so called spa with Cruella and the Evil Queen.
But sadly, the place seemed to be even busier than usual, or perhaps it only looked that way cause Lilith didn't want to see anyone.
Groaning softly, she pulled the blanket over her head, trying her best to tune the world out and focus on getting some rest. But falling asleep was hard when you were already cold and your window was always open cause it had no glass.
When sleep finally seemed to agree with her, Lilith heard faint foot steps outside her door.
The Gothel girl glanced around, looking for anything that could be used as a weapon. After all, this was the Isle of the Lost. Filled with crooks, murderers and thieves.
But as the door creaked open, she just saw Gil's face light up. "Oh, there you are! Shouldn't you be in the living room cause of, well," The boy gestured to the balcony.
"Mom doesn't want me in the living room," Lilith sighed, rubbing her temples. "What are you doing here, Gil?"
"You said you weren't feeling well," He shrugged slighty as he crouched down to pet Asmo. "So, Harry, Uma and I decided to check on you."
Blinking multiple times, Lilith sat up straight. "What?" Was her only response.
"Yeah, so come on. Harry tried to find the blankets with the least holes and Uma got some of the spoiled brew from her mom's shop here. When i left them in the kitchen, they were trying to heat it up for you. You coming?" He grinned, looking at the girl with a kind expression.
"S-sure," Lilith nodded slightly, getting up from her mattress, wrapping the blanket around her shoulders.
Gil picked up Asmodeus, who purred softly at the attention, and sat down on the torn up couch in the middle of the living room.
"There she is," Uma smirked slightly, stirring a boiling pot on the stove. "Food is almost ready."
Lilith frowned slightly, looking at the pot that was overflowing with something that smelled less than pleasant-But then again, so did everything on the Isle.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked. Sure, she had joined their crew, but a part of her mind was convinced they'd still leave her behind. After all, if her own sister would leave her to rot, what would stop them from doing it?
"Cause pirates look after their own, next question." A third voice stated as Lilith felt someone drape another blanket over her shoulders.
Glancing at Harry, Lilith smiled slightly at how strangely domestic the entire scene felt as she got settled on the couch.
"Okay so I don't have many options, considering we only got Auradon's propaganda, but I got us some movies to make fun off?" Gil smiled, gesturing to a small staple of movies next to the tiny tv.
"Sounds good to me," Lilith chuckled slightly, smiling at Uma when the sea witch put the brew down in front of her.
"Eat up, we're expecting you back on the Lost Revenge as soon as possible," Uma grinned, sitting down next to Lilith with her arms crossed, Harry plopping down next to her.
"You guys do know you don't have to do this, right?" Lilith asked, raising an eyebrow as she gently blew on the brew before taking a bite.
Harry shrugged casually, inspecting the sharpness of his hook. "Maybe not, but we still do so."
"Yeah, I told you before, didn't I?" Uma's grin turned into a genuine smile. "We don't leave our own behind. Not for anything."
Lilith blamed her sickness for the butterflies she felt in her stomach as she snuggled up to Uma while Gil put the movie on. "Don't you have a night shift tho?"
"I convinced Bonny to cover for me, don't worry." Uma shrugged slightly, resting her head on Harry's shoulder while wrapping both her arms around Lilith.
Sighing happily, the Gothel girl leaned into the touch while Gil had one arm wrapped around Lilith, petting Asmodeus with the other.
Harry chuckled, resting his head on top of Uma's. "That cat of yours should become our mascot."
"Asmo of the Lost revenge, does sound nice." Gil grinned, scratching Asmodeus under his chin.
"Don't tell me I need to add cat food to the grocery list?" Harry groaned playfully, making Lilith look up.
"What do you mean?"
"Harry and I moved out," Gil grinned, sharing a look with his friend. "We're officially living on the Lost Revenge."
"Pirates work, sleep and eat on a ship after all," Harry chuckled.
Lilith nodded slightly, impressed by them being able to commit to such a big change. "What about you, Uma?"
"I'm joining them soon, hopefully," Uma muttered softly. "As soon as I can sneak all my stuff over there. I don't want my mom to know before I finished moving everything, otherwise she'd throw my stuff out."
Lilith scoffed slightly, thinking about how her own mother just grabbed some clothes and dumped them in a bag when the letter came from Auradon. "I know what you mean."
"You should join us, if you want," Uma shrugged slightly, but Lilith noticed the hopeful look on the captain's face.
Snuggling closer, Lilith closed her eyes, promising that she'd think about it.
