The Ramyeon House

CHAPTER ONE

"Hey wake up!" Sunghoon said waking up Jake while hitting Jake on the arm a pillow. Jake got up and sats on the bed. Sunghoon gets the big bowl full of ramyeon from the kitchen then puts it in the table. "Is that ramyeon?" Jake asked. "Yes. Let's eat." Sunghoon sat on the table.

They eat breakfast together as what they are used to everyday. Jake and Sunghoon are bestfriends from high school until now college. Jake arrive on the school with Sunghoon.

"What time is your shift? " Sunghoon asked Jake while looking at his wrist watch" Hmm... 7 P.M" Jake sighed. Sunghoon nods. "I'll see you later then, okay?" Sunghoon smiled, Jake nods then smiled.

Their path crossed as they go to their class. As Jake arrived at the classroom, he was surprised when he saw no one, there are only chairs and a clean big board. A young man was walking coming to Jake's path, so he asked the man.

"Uhmm, hi, goodmorning, can i ask?" Jake said with a smile  "Sure" the man answered "Where are the students in here?" he pointed the room.."Ah,actually, there are no classes for 3 days." the man answered "Why?" Jake's forehead crampled.

"The storm is going to land this afternoon. Keep safe." the man pat his shoulder. "Okay, thankyou, you too." he smiled and the man did too. The man left him. So, since there is no class, he decided to go home and have some rest.

He got home and took a rest. It was cold and a cloudy morning, he took a rest to gain energy for his work this night.

Jake is a crew in a ramyeon store, that is famous in their place. He works to support his needs since his parents died on a car accident and grew up with his grandmother who is now in Australia.

Even though he is working, his salary is still not enough to give him his needs. He's studying now in Korea because of his friend Sunghoon.

He thought that studying here in Korea is just nothing for him, but as years past he fell in love to his country and decided to live in Korea. He's a third year college student and studying under the course of  Accountancy. He loves math and he's half korean and half australian.

Jake woke up with yawn, he sat on his bed and looks at the window on his back. "Wah. Heavy rainfall huh?" He look at his clock. 12:30 P. M. "Sunghoon?" he called his friend while walking to his room. He found Sunghoon sleeping peacefully so he  go to the kitchen and make some coffee.

While sipping coffee, the lights turns off. Jake was surprised, "Oh yeah, blackout." he turns on the flashlight from his phone. "God, hope the storm is not that bad." he sighed. He lighten up the candles  then,he cook some soup and eats when Sunghoon wakes up. "Hey. Let's eat. I didn't wake you up 'cause you're sleeping so peaceful." Jake ate up. "It's okay. My sleep was so good, it's so cold." he giggled. "Is the storm so bad?" Sunghoon sat infront of Jake then sips some soup. Jake shook his head.

"Just heavy rain, no winds at all." Jake looks at Sunghoon. Sunghoon nods. Sunghon ate with Jake, they talk a lot until the lghts came back. They watch movies. Suddenly, Jake's alarm rang. He pick his phone up. "Time for work." Jake said as he trun off the alarm.

He takes a shower and walk to the store. Just meters away from their dorm. "Goodevening,sir." He greeted the guard with as smile as he gets inside the store. He then gets inside the kitchen. "Jake, you will be the waiter for now, there's a lot of customer and no one is doing the delivery, so I need to do it. Is that ok for you?" Bangchan looks at him. He nods. "Sure, be careful." Jake smiled as Bangchan leaves the store.

Bangchan is his co-worker, Bangchan used to be the waiter and Jake is in-charge in the kitchen. But since there's a lot of delivery to do Bangchan will deliver the orders and Jake will be in-charge in the waiter. Jake was cleaning the tray when a boy accidentlly spilled a ramyeon on his elbow. "Ahh!" Jake shouted with pain 'cause the ramyeon is hot. The boy puts the ramyeon in the table near the cashier and gets a tissue then wipes Jake's elbow. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to spill it." The boy said with worry tone while wipping Jake's elbow.

Jake looks at him when their eyes met. The boy cleared his throat. Jake looks away. "Hey, it's okay. I understand." Jake smiled then holds the boy's hand to stop him. The boy looks at him when their eyes met again. There's a different feeling everytime Jake's eyes met the boy's eyes. The boy's eyes was so clear you can even use it as a mirror. It shines like a diamond, he has this bambi eyes that makes him handsome and attractive.

The boy's nose was pointed and a very handsome face, he's such a goddess to have this kind of beauty. "Oh. I am sorry again." the boy bowed to Jake, "Hey, it's ok, but please, be careful next time okay?" Jake smiled. "Oh yeah hehe." The boy giggled while sratching his nape. "I am just new here, sorry." The boy smiled awkwardly to Jake. Jake chucklwd. "It's okay." Jake wink, the boy chuckled.

"Oh. I gotta go. I am sorry again." The boy carries the bowl of ramyeon going to the customer who ordered. Jake smiled. "It's okay, no need to be sorry." Jake giggled then cleans the tray. The boy was really something that makes Jake's heart jump, his heart was beating fast as Jake is thinking about the boy. Jake caress his chest, where his heart was placed. "Stop!" He said in his mind.

He forcely close his eyes. "Jake please! Stop! His a guy!" He said again in his mind. "Are you okay?" A familiar voice asked him that makes him open his eyes. It's the boy! His heart was beating more fast, than he expected. What's with this boy?

"Uhh--nothing hehe." Jaks giggled. He looks down then, continued cleaning the trays. "Jake, does it hurt?" The boy asked as the boy put the bowls of ramyeon on the tray. Jake looks at him. "Oh. It doesn't." He looks at his elbow. The boy nods. "Good." The boy smiled. "How'd you know I am Jake?" Jake's forehead crampled.

The boy chuckled then points Jake's name tag on his left chest. "Jake." The boy smiled. Jake looks at his name tag. "Oh yeah. I am Shim Jaeyun in Korea, Jake in Australia. But people was used to call me Jake, so... Jake." Jake giggled. "Wow. What a nice name. It suits you. Jake the nice guy." The boy chuckled. Jake was frozed.

The way this boy chuckled is a song in his ears. Such a nice smile, a very beautiful smile.

The boy looks at him. "Oh yeah. T-thanks." Jake smiled then scracth his nape. "I gotta go, another order, hehe." The boy bowed at him, then leaves. Before the guy left, he saw the guy's name tag. Heeseung?! What a very beautiful name! Heeseung is such a goddess to have those perfect features.

He sighed. His heart is beating fast.

What's with you Heeseung? He said in his mind.
