CHAPTER TEN

Jake arrived on their dorm when he saw Sunghoon reading a book.

"Hey." he greeted as he put his bag on the couch. "Have you eaten?" he asked then sat on the couch and took his shoes off. He looks at Sunghoon but he didn't receive any response. "Hoon, are you okay?" he walk towards Sunghoon but his friend stood up then gets inside its room.

He sighed, "I think he need some space." he smiled then gets inside his room. He sighed as he sat on his bed.

Sunghoon was so different earlier, he was surprised when Sunghoon didn't greet him first. He was used of being greeted by Sunghoon first. "Is he depress again?" his forehead crampled. He shook his head, "Ah, I think he need some space." he sighed with a smile.

He change his clothes to uniform then walks to the store.

When he arrived at the store he saw Heeseung talking to a lady who's wearing a dress with a guy who's holding the lady on the wrist stopping the lady.

When he gets inside the store, the lady was yelling at the store's crew and pointing the crew, "Honey, stop it now." the guys stopped his partner.

"Shut up!" the girl shouted at the guy. "This store is such a trash!" the lady shouted.

When Jake heard that, his eyes widen then walk towards Heeseung. Ethan was about to speak when he interrupted, "Excuse me ma'am?" his forehead crampled. The crowd looks at him and started to feel nervous.

"What did you said? This store is such a trash?" Heeseung stares at him. "Jake stop." Heeseung whispered as he grab Jake's wrist.

"Well, the store that you see as a 'trash'." Jake raise his fingers signing as a quotation. "Is now building branches everywhere in Korea including foreign countries. And this guy over here..." he pushed Heeseung infront of the lady. "Is the son's owner of the trash." Jake said loudly that made the crowd gasped in shock.

The lady stares at Heeseung head to toe. "I-I'm sorry." the lady said with shaking voice.

"I'm taking back what I said earlier. I'm so sorry sir." the lady kneel down. "Please ma'am, stand up." Heeseung grab the lady's arms then lift her up. "No! No! I'm so sorry." she bowed.

Heeseung lift her up. "No, please, ma'am please. Stop." Heeseung stopped her. The lady stood up then looks at Jake with shaking eyes.

"Apologies." the guy bowed to them then grab the lady's wrist and took her outside.

Heeseung sighed while staring at Jake, "Are you okay?" Jake looks at him then he nods. "I'm fine." he smiled a bit while looking at the crowd.

"Are you okay?" Heeseung asked while looking at the crew. "Yes sir, thank you so much." the crew bowed then walks away.

"Ladies and gentleman, I am sincerely sorry what happened earlier. I hope you understand and please, feel safe here and enjoy the food." Heeseung smiled then bowed.

Jake and Heeseung gets inside the crew's room. "Jake..." Heeseung sighed. "Thank you so much about earlier." he smiled. "Come on, it's my pleasure. This store helped me a lot. It's my pleasure to defend it." Jake smiled.

"And oh, I was surprised when you pushed me earlier. I was embarassed and shocked when you said that I'm the owner's son." Heeseung chuckled.

"It's a lesson for her. And please you're always welcome." Jake smiled.

"By the way. May I know what's the reason why she was yelling?" Jake asked.

"The crew was mistaken to give her the food she ordered. I think she was so hungry but there's a lot of customers that's why the crew was too tired and even forget what she ordered and gave her the wrong food but it doesn't mean she have the strength to insult my family's business. " Heeseung sighed.

Jake sighed, "She didn't understand." he looks away. "Yeah. But it's fine now." Heeseung smiled. "Let's not talk about that right now. That was still fresh to me and it gives me a lot of thoughts that should not be thought." he added with a giggle. "Yeah, let's go." Jake smiled then they jump out of the room.

Sunoo was walking on the way to the minimart when he saw Sunghoon. He smiled and walk towards the young man. "Sunghoon hyung." he greeted with a smile, "Oh, Sunoo. Why are you here?" Sunghoon sips his iced-americano. "Oh uhmm, I just want to buy some snacks. I'm going to watch some movies later." he giggled then sat beside Sunghoon.

"How about you? Why are you here?" He asked. "I'm just getting some fresh air and some time with myself." Sunghoon smiled.

Really Park Sunghoon?

Or you're just jelous 'cause Jake hyung is with Heeseung hyung right now?

Sunoo thought.

"Wah! Are you having a hard time?" Sunoo asked with crampled forehead.

Sunghoon gulped. "Sunoo, I know we're not that close yet but..." Sunghoon looks at him and he is.

"You're the only one I am comfortable of and kinda good at keeping secrets, maybe?" Sunghoon smiled a bit. "Lastly, you're the only one person I can share with this." he sighed.

"So?" Sunoo stares at him. Sunghoon cleared his throat.

"I like Jake." he sighed.

When Sunoo heard that, his eyes widen and his mouth formed into letter "O".

Now he conclude that Sunghoon really likes Jake.

"He-he-he." Sunoo was too stunned to speak. Sunghoon nods. "Yes, I like him a long time ago until now." he sighed.

"Wait." Sunoo sighed heavily.

He just can't believe that what he's predicting about Sunghoon was right and it came out from its own mouth.

"Hyung..." he sighed. "I know. I know. I know it's surprising but it's true." he looks away.

"I wanted to say this to him but I can't. I'm scared I might lose him." he sighed. Sunoo looks at him, "Hyung, I don't know what to can I help for you. But, just remember that you can call me anytime you need someone. Okay?" Sunoo smiled.

Sunghoon looks at him then smiled a bit and nods. "Thank you." he sighed in relief. "Can I ask you?" Hoon added.

"Hmm?" he answered. "I know, this is under the belt but. Do Heeseung like Jake?" Sunghoon stares at him.

Sunoo gulped when he heard the eldest question. He was surprised about the question and now he can't speak.

He chuckled. "Oh come on hyung, I think he don't. Ugh! I don't know. He don't say anything about those kind of stuffs." he answered. Sunghoon nods then forcely smiled while observing Sunoo.

"Well. I think that's good." Sunghoon smiled. "Why did you asked by the way?" Sunoo asked. "Uhmm, just getting ready if there will be a rival of mine for Jake." he giggled. "Just kidding." he added then chuckled.

"Oh..." Sunoo chuckled.

He knew Sunghoon was serious when he said that but he just go with the flow to keep the eldest comfortable with him.

He left the minimart with snacks on his hands and got home.

He took his jacket off and sat on the sofa with a sigh. "Heeseung hyung must know about this." he sighed. "Oh no!" he looks away with forehead crampled. His face crampled. "Oh gosh! I don't know what to do." he murmured.

Sunghoon says that he's good at keeping secret. So, he must keep Sunghoon's word a secret but he can't let his brother die in confusion and curiosity to know if Sunghoon likes Jake or not.

He sighed. "Why do I need to be the secret keeper?" he rest his back on the couch.
