CHAPTER NINE

Heeseung got home when he saw Sunoo in the living room talking with Niki on the phone. When Sunoo saw him entering the house, Sunoo hang up then greeted Heeseung. “Ethan hyung.” He smiled, “Hey, you’re early huh?” Heeseung replied with crampled forehead. “Yeah, my classes ended early so, I got home early.” He smiled and Heeseung sat beside him with a sigh. “How are you? You look stressed?” Sunoo sips his iced-tea. “No, I’m fine.” Heeseung smiled. “How’s school by the way?” Heeseung added while looking at him then took his uniform jacket off. “Well, it was amazing. I enjoyed SNU.” Sunoo giggled. “Really?” Heeseung fix his hair. “Yuh, my classmates are friendly and the school is the best.” Sunoo winks and click his tongue then giggled. “Is there any reason why you did enjoy SNU?” Heeseung asked while pouting teasingly. “Tsk, hyung. Could you stop?” Sunoo rolled his eyes. “Of course, there is another reason.” Sunoo pouted. “Spill.” Heeseung cleared his throat, “Sunghoon hyung, is in SNU.” Sunoo smiled a bit but hides it when Heeseung glance to him.

“Ah. You, tsk.” Heeseung shook his head. “Why?” Sunoo looks at him. “Nothing.” Heeseung chuckled. “Come on. What’s up?” Sunoo sips his iced-tea again. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this but, Sunoo.” He looks at Sunoo and Sunoo looks at him too. “Hmm?” Sunoo raise his eyebrows. “If me and Sunghoon are drowning, who will you save?” Heeseung asked, “Of course. I will pick Sung-“ Sunoo answered but he didn’t finish his word when he saw his brother raising its eyebrow. “I mean, YOU! You hyung.” Sunoo smiled. “I will save you. You’re my brother.” Sunoo grinned. “Hope you’re not my brother.” Sunoo whispered. “Aish!” Heeseung shouted.

“But seriously, what is it?” Sunoo looks at him. “Well, it’s just that. Sunghoon is being distance to me. I wonder why.” Heeseung sighed then rest his back at the couch. “We did talk earlier after he sent you to your building, and…” Heeseung sighed, “He was so different. Like, you know. He doesn’t act like Sunghoon.” Heeseung pouted. Sunoo gasped. “Oh my god. May I know what was your conversation with him?” Sunoo smiled. “Well, I was just saying that he’s been distant to me and I want to know why.” Heeseung looks at Sunoo. “Then, he was being different, he asked me if that was the reason why.” Heesung looks away. “Oh yeah. I smell something fishy hyung.”  Sunoo winks. “Do you think Sunghoon hyung liked Jake hyung?” Sunoo added that made Heeseung looks at him. “Well, yes. But, I’m not sure.” Heeseungg scratch his nape. “Well, you approach the right person.” Sunoo smiled then stood up. “Huh?” his forehead crampled. “Follow me.” Sunoo smiled then walk straight to his room and Heeseung followed.

“This is the library.” Sunghoon smiled while walking with Sunoo and shows the library. “Wah, so big.” Sunoo smiled and his eyes are full of admiration. “Yes. Millions of book are there. I think all kinds of books are in there.” Sunghoon smiled. “Hyung, can we get inside?” Sunoo asked while busy looking at the library. “Sure.” Sunghoon answered and they get inside.

“You can’t make noise in here, so be quiet.” Sunghoon whispered to Sunoo while they’re walking in the hall full of books. He nods. “Can all student get in here anytime they want?” Sunoo whispered to Sunghoon and Hoon nods. “Wah, Really? That’s so nice.” Sunoo smiled. “Actually, Jake used to come in here every day.” Sunghoon smiled while touching the books that they pass through. Sunoo smiled then looks away.

Now, he can prove that Sunghoon really likes Jake.

“This is the Dean’s office.” Sunghoon smiled. “Wah, everything in here is huge huh?” Sunoo chuckled. “Yeah, also, SNU is amazing.” Sunghoon chuckled. After walking for minutes they arrived at the Architecture’s building, Education’s building, Law’s building, Medical’s building, School hospital and the court. They get inside the court sat on the stairs. “You know what, Jake used to play basketball when we’re kids. But, now he doesn’t play.” Sunghoon chuckled. “Why?” Sunoo cleared his throat. “Well, his too busy in studying.” Sunghoon giggled. “I see.” Sunoo smiled with a sigh.

“You and Jake hyung are so close huh?” Sunoo giggled. “Yes, very close. I even get sad when I don’t see him. His like a brother to me.” Sunghoon smiled.

Really Park Sunghoon?

Are you sure just brother?

Sunoo smiled forcely then looks away.

“You know what hyung,” Sunoo sat on his bed with his Heeseung hyung who’s now eating chips. “When Sunghoon hyung showed me the whole school, he keep mentioning Jake hyung and it’s so irritating.” Sunoo rolled his eyes. “Now, hyung. We can really prove that he likes Jake hyung.” Sunoo smiled. “Come on, we can’t judge the person by his words.” Heeseung pouted. “Well, listen and learn Lee Heeseung. I will be giving you some tips.” Sunoo winks then stood up.

“First, if he did something bad about Jake and it kills him if he didn’t apologize. Eventhough it’s not that bad. That means he likes Jake.” Sunoo smiled.

“Second, if he keep staring at you while you’re having fun with Jake or talking with Jake. And his eyes speaks something that you know it can kill you. That means he likes Jake.” Sunoo winks. “O-kay?” Heeseung sighed.

“Third, if he acts and speaks differently towards you but nice to others it means he likes Jake.” Sunoo smiled and Heeseung’s forehead crampled. “You know, he don’t interact nicely to you ‘cause he’ll thought that you’re thinking that he’s easy but, he’s not and he doesn’t want Jake for you. Get it?” Sunoo winks then Heeseung nods. “You mean, he see me as a rival?” Heeseung asked Sunoo. “Exactly my dear brother.” Sunoo nods. “Oh no.” Heeseung looks away with a sigh. “Oh yes. Like it or not, but hyung. That’s what’s happening right now. Both of you are fighting for Jake’s heart.” Sunoo smiled. “Thanks a lot.” He smiled then stood up, “You’re welcome and good luck.” Sunoo smiled. Heeseung smiled and left Sunoo’s room.

Heeseung gets inside his room and change his clothes. He sat on his bed and started wondering why he likes Jake. He likes the young man for some reasons. Jake was someone he’s really comfortable of. He has this personality that made Heeseung feel good too after what he have done to their family. Jake gives off a vibe that made him more comfortable and feel special. Lastly, Jake was the most unexpected person that he met and he haven’t expect that Jake would made him feel the feeling that he haven’t feel in his whole life. It’s like, they have a spark everytime he talk to Jake. Eventhough they don’t talk or just heard Jake’s voice it made his day brighter.

He smiled and shook his head. “Shim Jake, you’re making me crazy.”
