17 : Live

"You're up early. Did you have enough rest?" I pulled a chair and looked at Yeji from the dining table.

"Yeah, I'm hungry so I feel like doing the breakfast early. Why are you up early too, anyway?" she turned and served a plate of bagel with cream cheese. Just like Rosé, she knows how to cook unlike me.

"I am always early, haha. Are you about to leave? You have work?"

"I have a day off today. I only have a scheduled VLIVE for this afternoon."

"You can stay here longer. No one's home anyway and I'm bored." I offered.

Though I'm used to being alone, a month without Rosé is too long. I feel like having a company. Since Yeji lives alone too, it's a good thing that we have each other around. The stalker might still be after her.

"Really? Did you say that because you want me to do your breakfast every morning? Lazy ass." she pulled a chair and sat in front of me.

"I'm only well fed when Rosé is around. Why don't you take over that role for a while?" I joked.

She gave me a look and made a disgusted face. "Be careful of your words, Sunyoung. I won't take that as a joke."

"What? Did my offer offend you?"

"What offer?"

"Be a cook in this house. I'm too lazy to find a housemaid. And I feel bad asking an old nanny to do everything for me. Unless it's you."

She flicked my forehead. "Gosh, you really made me think of something else."

"Ouch.. are you on your period? What did you think of anyway? I don't understand."

She shook her head and began to eat the breakfast.

I convinced Yeji to stay for the rest of the week and she gave up since nobody's gonna pick her up. Luckily, her schedule is going to be free till the weekend.

I walked past the guest room and noticed the door was not close so I peeked inside to see Yeji was live for her scheduled VLIVE. I waved at her until she noticed. She gave me a sign to come to her.

"Ahh, Midzy, I forgot to tell you all that we have a special guest for today. Hey pretty, come here!" she patted the seat next to her.

I awkwardly sat next to her as though people knew that we are close during the trainees era, but it's quite rare for us to be seen together now.

I read the comment and everyone was saying my name. I smiled and gave them a friendly wave. "Hello, Midzy! Allow me to butt in for today, hehe."

"What were you talking about? Should I go now?" I got out of the screen for a while and whispered that to Yeji.

She laughed a bit and pulled me back so I could be seen on the screen. "Sunyoung is a bit shy today. But, I must tell you that she has no shame in real life. Back when we were trainees, she used to twerk in front of me out of nowhere and she did that so often."

"Well, that's true. That's where the inspiration of Not Shy came from. But also Midzy, I must tell you that Yeji isn't as innocent as she looks. She really likes-- ouch!" Yeji pinched my arm and laughed awkwardly.

"Nooo, please don't believe whatever she says. Don't trust anyone who twerks out of nowhere. Ah, I feel like talking too much about myself. I'm gonna read the comment." Yeji scrolled through the comments.

"Ahh Yeji, what was that for?" I rubbed the spot she pinched. It stings.

She stopped looking through the comments and looked at my arm. She noticed it was a bit swollen. "Damn, I didn't expect it to be so bad." she gently rubbed my arm.

Her touch actually made the pain go away little by little. Her skin was so soft yet she could pinch that hard. She was bowing down but I still could see her worried face. Cute.

I noticed we been ignoring the VLIVE I managed to read the comments.

I snapped out of it and looked again at Yeji. She was looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"I was asking you if you want to put on some ice on it."

"Oh, no need. Yeji, we are on air. Your fans are watching."

She started to realize that and let go of my arm slowly. She turned back to the phone.

"Where did we leave off? Hehe, sorry. Oh my, what are guys saying here? Nooo, it is my fault I pinched her too hard." Yeji seemed to notice the comments and blushed.

"Don't mess with Yeji or you guys will end up like me." I made a sad face.

"Midzy, no matter how angry you get, please don't do that anyone, okay? I did it without any intention but it still hurt Sunyoung. Sorry, Sunyounnngg!" she hugged me.

I hugged her back. It wasn't really a fan service. Though we have to act cute and baby like all the time, I knew she meant it.

The comment section went crazy again.

I let Yeji to finish her VLIVE alone when I had to pick up a call from Rosé.

"Baabyy, how are you?" she cheerfully greeted over the phone.

"I'm fine. You? What time is it there?"

"It's 9 in the morning. I miss you."

"I miss you too. Can't you return earlier? I'm so bored." I frowned as if she could see it.

"We will see. There's still a lot to do but once everything is done, I will be on top of you."

"Ew, what the fuck, Rosé? It's 9 in the morning there."

"Oh, saying that as if you don't moan louder than a flying jet."

"Enough. I forgot to tell you that Yeji is with me. Something terrible happened yesterday."

"..O... fff... ..not.." the voice was unclear.

"Hello?"

"...ter.." she ended the call. What was that?

Later, I received a text from an unknown number.

Sunyoung baby, I accidentally dropped my phone and your voice was unclear. But I already heard about Yeji in the house. It's fine and what was the terrible thing you mentioned? I'll get a new phone and text you later. I love you. Don't reply yet, this is Talia's.

She's clumsy sometimes. I will explain it later when she got a new phone.

I decided to prepare dinner for us. Yeji had made the breakfast and lunch so I think it is my turn to prepare the dinner. Took me half an hour to prepare two simple hamburgers. Though I'm not a good cook, the meals are still edible. I guess.

I called Yeji from the kitchen but she didn't answer. The room is a bit far from the kitchen so she might not hear me. I walked to her room but she wasn't there. But where else could she be?

I didn't think twice when I pushed the bathroom door and there I saw Yeji was completely naked in the bathtub.
