"Duh, it's fine. We were drunk. You only remembered it after quite some time." I shrugged Yeji's apology.

We bumped onto each other earlier, again but this time without Rosé interrupting us. I asked her if she would like to talk with me and she agreed.

She sipped her drink before looking at me again. "Did you tell Rosé? She seems like she already knew about it."

"Mhm, I told her but I wasn't blaming you at all. You don't have to worry, I'm pretty sure she understand how drunk we were. She's drunksé herself."

"But not gonna lie though, if I were Rosé, I would've killed me. Ah, shit. She even looked at me as if she was going to swallow me. I'm so scared of her now."

"I know, right. She's very fiercy when she decides to show it." I recalled what happened a few days ago, when I came home late than usual. Bu thankfully, it ended with something good. Yeah, good.

"Now I don't know how to make up with her. It's not a small thing and saying I was drunk won't make it look better. Eww."

"Nah, just let her be for a while. You know what's funny? She assumed that you like me. Bruh, that's like saying you're gay. That doesn't make sense at all only if she knew how much boyfriend you had during high school."

"Who said I wasn't gay?"

We made eye contact but I quickly broke it and cleared my throat. I acted as if swirling my drink with straw was fun.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I kinda like you."

The only thing I could look at was the table, as I could feel that she was still looking at me.

I couldn't tell if it was a joke or not.

"Come on, I was joking. Since when you're taking things I say seriously?"

Yeji patted my hands, probably noticed that I was avoiding her eyes. I looked at her again and quietly let out a relieved sigh. It would be awkward if she said something else.

"You could've died if Rosé was around."

Her lips pouted.  "Hmm, I think she's starting to hate me. How should I convince her that it was just an accident?"

"I'm kinda worried too. Like, you're my best friend and it will be hard if she doesn't like me being around you, and you being scared of her."

Her expression slightly changed. I waited for her to reply but she decided to just smile and continued to sip her drink.

"If you ask me, I'd say, put your girlfriend above everything else. But personally, since the best friend is me, you can't just get rid of me like that."

"Huh? I would never let myself choose between you two."

"Really? Let's say Rosé wants our friendship to end, what do you say?"she raised one of her brows.

"Gosh, stop. Why would she even ask that? Uhh, c'mon. We should stop talking about this. I believe you two will be on good terms soon."

"Here's the signed album. Sorry that I returned it this late." I gave her the album.

She smiled widely when the album was finally on her hands and she traced every signature with her fingers before looking at me again.

"Thank you so much! This is so unbelievable. Oh my god..." she adored the signed album for one more time.

It was a common evening where I just finished daily dance practice with my members and I decided to visit the coffeehouse I went a few days ago.
