A soft breeze passed by and the white dandelions waved along with it, dancing to the rhythm of the crickets. The sky wore a veil of warm colors, shading the field underneath. Among the flowers was a tree, spreading it's branches up in to the sky becoming a home to colorful feathered friends, who were resting in their warm nests.
He lay at the foot of the tree, on the velvet like green carpet of grass, listening to the sweet chaos of the nature. On his hand was a dandelion and he stared at it with hopeful green eyes.
"May you hear this and let us be together." He whispered to the flower and blew, scattering it in the air as it went faraway.
A smile forced his lips up and he closed his eyes, calmly resting. His heart was light and pure, head clear and peaceful.
It felt real.
So real...
When he opened his eyes, he met two dark eyes, gleaming like a pair of chalcedony. They really were like an onyx, protecting him from the evil and keeping him safe.
"Hello beautiful."
Butterflies fluttered their wings in his stomach, so much to feel at the moment. A comforting silence lingered around as the boy moved to lay on the latter's lap.
"Chan..."
"Hmm..." Chan hummed, fingers sliding through Hyunjin's hair.
"If I ever disappear, what will you do?" He glanced up at him. Fireflies roamed around them, lighting the darkness around, magically.
Chan placed a gentle kiss on the forehead and cupped his face. "Then I'll search for you in every realm, even if it's another dimension or through heaven or hell. I'll find you everywhere I know and for years till I make sure you are back in my arms, just like how you are now."
Hyunjin giggled, turning around and hugging the older's waist, burying his face in the stomach.
He felt scared and he held tight on to him, not wanting to let go. "Promise me you will stay with me forever."
"I promise you prince but is this about the fight we had earlier?"
The fight? A voice in his head echoed.
Somehow, the nephilim felt like his breath was taken away and eyes filling with tears. Hyunjin sniffled.
"Oh love." Chan lay down as well, pulling the boy up and enveloping him with his warmth. "It was just a small argument. We both were angry and we both have a hard time understanding how we feel. So we say things we don't mean. That doesn't mean I'll leave you."
He soothingly rubbed the boy's sides.
"I never will. No matter how much we fight I'll be right here with you, whenever you want. Wherever you go I follow. Wherever that is. I will stick to you, even if you push me away."
"Love you." Hyunjin whispered in to Chan's neck, nuzzling further in, taking in the sweet scent. "So... so... much."
"I love you too." Chan brushed his hair, tucking a small pink flower over his ear. "So beautiful."
"Can you make me a crown?" The nephilim asked, looking up with big eyes.
"How do you want it? In gold with gems or diamonds-"
"N-no... just a flower crown." Cheeks dusting with a rose color, Hyunjin said, lightly hitting Chan's chest.
"If you say so, my Prince."
