If I get to be with you

Chan watched Hyunjin emptying the can of beer, hissing right after with eyes tight closed and he slumped back on the arm chair, literally throwing the can out carelessly. He did look like he was about to tie the sky and ground together but the demon didn't know what it actually was playing with his mind.

"What are you thinking?"

He sat on the arm of the chair, fingers running in to the nephilim's hair.

"A lot of things." Hyunjin sighed as he slightly leaned on to the man next to him, feeling a bit relieved at the moment of heaviness.

Chan hummed, "Do you want to talk about it?"

"We have to."

Just that phrases was enough to make a complicated atmosphere between them as the older moved to hold both of Hyunjin's hands.

"A council member knows about us." The nephilim broke out the information, staring up at Chan who was still processing it.

"Should I kill him?"

"That's impossible. We'll get in real trouble if we do that." Hyunjin felt trapped in between choices and people and his own self. Not a single path was clear to him and it scared him. But then again he couldn't protect everything around him. "There are two choices. One to run away and the second... to kill you and I would never do that."

Chan could feel a rush of shivers pass down his veins.

How could Hyunjin love him this much even after so many torture he went through because of him?

"Hyunjin, you know that I'm not afraid to die right?"

"Hell no Chan. I didn't perform a whole damn ritual to summon you to kill you."

The demon chuckled, softly kissing the hands he held, "So, we are running away?"

Hyunjin gulped down his dry throat and closed his eyes for awhile to let the ringing in his ears to calm down. "If you are coming with me..."

"I'll come with you wherever you want, if I get to be with you. That's all need."

They were going to run away, without knowing where to stop. It sounded exciting but Chan would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. His heart thumped like it was about to burst open and his mind was scattered all over giving him uneasy feelings as he embraced the younger.
