Nishaan's POV:

I stared at Yasmin, (my about to leave best friend) writing delicately with her fingers on my plastered arm. When my dad told me to move to Seattle, I got so angry that I got myself into an accident as you know and I fractured my arm.

"Lost!" she wrote. Mumbling whatever she writes was her habit and I chuckled at her.

"If you spot this lost child, please report her to child care or contact here: +02826.." then she grabbed the pink colored marker and started drawing hearts everywhere.

"Now purple," I loved how she made me feel but deep down I knew that she won't be with me forever. She and I had promised that if we ever to separate, we'd would make new friends and move on but without staying in touch.

We both didn't like those best friends forever clichés because we both like different people. We loved to meet and communicate with new people and we all know how no one's gonna stay together forever. We should all meet new people and learn something new everyday. 7 billion people on the earth- . I mean, hello! So much things to do, learn and meet new people.

She could easily make and meet new friends and get popular, unlike me who behaves like a biggest bitch and drive people away. I looked down.

Only few people like her - actually see me. The real me.

Taylor and Kesha were just friends with me because I get invited to fancy things like Met Gala, Dolce and Gabbana fashion show and all. Also The Beckhams invited me to have lunch together.

No I didn't attend any of it except The Beckham family's lunch - if you're curious.

"Nishaan, promise me something," she begun - not looking at me but focusing down - decorating my arm. Her long-brown hair was falling down, making her look so pretty.
I always had admired her for her natural beauty. She had hair like Jennifer Aniston and I had hair like Taylor Swift in her 1989 era and she had looks from Blake lively and I looked like My dad. With very gentle and generous looks. I had a small, oval face with sharp but cute little nose and a sharp jawline. My eyes were hazel green . She was 5.5" and I was 5.7" and that was the best part of myself. I loved my height.

But the only difference was that she was a wify material. Her family sent her to grooming classes and she loves them. Ew. Before she left for a year to London- for grooming classes- she was just like me, rebel, wild and carefree but when she came back she was totally changed and I hated it. I was still not used to her but she was all I had and little did I know that she was just there for me. And I knew that it was my time to make new friends.

"Promise me, if you meet someone nice, then hold onto them, please... If you like someone, don't be mean. Please show them who you are, show them the real you!" an tear escaped from her left eye.

"Ay, why are you crying?" I wiped it away.

"Promise me Nish." she held my hands. I looked down at them and I smiled. I faked a smiled.

"Promise!" I squeezed her hands and I lied.

I make no promises.
