Nishaan's POV:

When I had stopped partying, Jackson had started going out at night. But, he felt less like a stranger now. He was slowly becoming the person he used to be, as if whatever had been troubling him was fading away.

I couldn't shake the feeling that it was partly my fault. He might be under pressure because of my family, and I knew how selfish and cunning they could be. It would be difficult for anyone to be with me. I wasn't easy to love; my crazy-maniac personality made it even harder.

The clock on the bedside table flashed 1:27 AM when my phone rang. I was waiting for him to come back home and I didn't realize when I fell asleep. Tigar also woke up becuase of the call. We both were anxious.

I had never recieved calls in the middle of the night and this made me scared. Eric's name blinked back at me.

I was scared as hell beucase It was Eric. and my heart was beating faster as my mind thought something horribl happened to jackson.

I answered it. "Eric?"

"Uh, Nishaan? Did I wake you?" He asked hesitatingly. It was quite loud behind him.

"What happened?" I asked, ignoring the fact that he did wake me up.

"You need to get to the bar..." He shouted through the call. I didn't need to be told twice. I jumped out of my bed.

"Is Jackson okay? Are you okay?" I asked impatiently.

"Jack, come and dance with me!" I heard some lady's flirtatious voice.

"Jack?" I whispered.

Is he my jack?

"What the hell is going on Eric?" I raised my voice.

"Jackson's... well, he's had a little too much to drink."

"Jackson doesn't drink, you and I went both know that!" I relaxed thinking that was lie.

"I know but he did today!"

Suddenly my heart dropped.

"How much did he drink?" I asked while I gathered my purse and keys. I was angry at him.

"A little!" He replied.

"He gets drunk very easily because he's not a drinker," Eric replied.

"Like in just one pack, he's fully drunk!"

"Is he okay?" I asked again

"He's pretty wasted. Just get here, okay?"

I hung up the call while I slipped into my shoes, and rushed out the door.

The drive to the bar felt like an eternity and I was dying from worry.

Why would he drink?
He never drinks! He hates drinking.

I pulled into the dimly lit parking lot, as my stomach churned.

I stormed inside. It was crowded with drunk people. Music was blasting and I could smell people's sweat.

"Ewww!" I mumbled.

I spotted Eric and his group. He was fully surrounded by ladies.

"Of course," I mumbled.

"Eric?" I called. He stopped laughing as he turned back and his expressions changed from happy to scared.

"You should have texted me, I would have come out!" He got up and came to me.

"Where's he?" I asked.

Eric's eyes shifted to the bar area. My eyes followed his gaze and I saw Jackson was sitting in the bar, drinking like a loner while some ladies were hovering around him. My blood was boiling with anger.
