"Marcy~" You whined, nuzzling your face into her crook of her neck. "Yes, (N/N)?" She asked, flashing an adorable smile. "Cuddles!" You said, attacking her in a large hug. Marcy kissed your face all over, you giggling in the process.
Marcy straddled you, you kissing her face instead. "(Y/N)~" she teased, trying to dodge the kisses, but failed.
You both giggled quietly together, her hugging you tight. "I love youuu~" Marcy said, patting your head. "Love you too Marshmallow~"
Suddenly, both of you heard a voice from downstairs. It was her father.
It was faint but you could make out these words, 'Marcy Wu' , 'trouble!'
You felt her become worried, she started to shake, "I d-didn't d-do anyt-hing?" You calmed her down after a kiss and Marcy reluctantly came down.
You heard a few yells and then thuds up the stairs. The door opened to reveal an upset Marcy, tears welling. You asked softly, "Marbles, what happened?" She didn't reply and just fell into your open arms. You felt her sniffle a bit, you figured she didn't wanna talk about it.
"Hey, it's gonna be okay." You hugged her tight, hoping to make her feel better. You pat her head while straddling her. Though something bad had happened, this always cheered both of you up.
