Percy opened his eyes to see a man sitting close to him, garbed in red clothes from head to toe. Looking around, he saw that the room itself was bathed in a red light.

Sensing that he was on a ship, he willed the water to crash into the side of the ship, causing it and everyone on it to lose their balance.

With that done, he immediately took to his heels speeding down the corridors of the ship with men in armour chasing after him. Seconds later, he saw a door ahead of him and barreled through it, finding himself on the deck of the ship. He launched himself over the bough of the ship and straight into the water, immediately swimming off towards the island he saw ahead of him.

Looking behind him, he saw that the ship was already dropping smaller and most likely faster boats into the water. The man he first saw was leading the chase for him. In a surge of panic, he made a wave and caused it to sweep some of the boats away.

Finally, he reached land and sprinted inland, taking in his surroundings as swiftly as he ran. His cat like reflexes kicked in as he dodged and rolled and jumped over different obstacles in his path. Even though there wasn't anyone after him at that moment, Percy kept running.

***********

General Iroh was shocked. The boy's eyes were unusual. They were constantly shifting between blue and green. But that wasn't the problem, those eyes were pools of power. Power that flowed with his emotions.

Iroh had spent enough time with the sages to know that the eyes were a reflection of what was within a person's mind. This boy although powerful, also had fear in his eyes.

Seeing the boy swimming away, he ordered the boats to be let down. Just as the boats started to move, he saw the boy look back and out of nowhere, a huge wave came and washed two out of the three boats.

The sky, which was clear, was now cloudy and threatened to let loose a storm. The boy had made it to the shore and raced inland and out of sight.

Few minutes later, the remaining boats reached the shore and fire nation soldiers moved in searching for the boy.

General Iroh stepped onto the shore and looked round, before setting off in the direction of the setting sun.

"Do not follow me" Iroh ordered his men.

It was nearly dark and the soldiers on the island were already heading back to the ship, save General Iroh, who had gotten to a place where two identical mountains stood. There were large holes in the mountains which were no doubt caves. There was a bridge between the caves with a very long stair way leading up to it.

As he was making his way towards the stairs, he heard a sound come from behind one of the rocks in the area.

"You can come out now son," Iroh said, "I'm not going to harm you in any way. I promise you that on a general's honor."

All was silent for a while before the boy stepped out from behind a rock, with his arms in an attack ready position.

Iroh raised his arms in a surrender position. The boy slowly walked towards him. The boy looked a few months older than his nephew- Prince Zuko.

As the boy got closer, he began to relax his arms. Though his body looked relaxed to anybody who was untrained, Iroh's eyes saw that his legs were still tense, ready to sprint away again at a moment's notice.

Iroh sat on the ground in the lotus position and motioned for the boy to do the same.

After a few tense moments, the boy sat across from him on the ground.
