Best Friends Day

*Marcel's Pov*

I woke up with a smile on my face because it's officially here. Best friends day is finally here. It's November 14th which is the 5th year anniversary of the Day I met the love of my life.

I sigh as I get up and put my glasses on. I walk into my bathroom that's connected to my room and smile. I barely woke up and I'm already having a good hair day but I still slick it back in gel. I put on a cream colored dress shirt and put on my black slacks with a red and blue sweater vest. I also put on my nice pair of shoes and head out the door.

It's only 8 in the morning but I hope Vanessa is awake. I drive all the way to her house and Hector let's me in. I park and silently make my way up to the door and unlock it with the spare key Vanessa gave me once she moved in.

I take the long stares all the way to the third floor where her room is at. I smile at the thought of me and her. I knock slightly just incase she's changing. I hear footsteps getting closer to me.

I smile once the door opens and my smile is wiped away when I see Edward here. He looks at me and slams the door shut. I flinched backwards a little scared. I knock again but this time slightly shaking.

"What the fuck do you want?" Edward roars. "V-vanes-sa" I stutter. "She's on the bed." He moves out of the way as I see my Princess waking up.

"Hi Marcel." She smiles. Her hair is crazy and her rosey cheeks look so cute. I sit on her bed but soon Edward comes to her bed and pushes me back towards the edge. She slaps his arm as he does so.

"Why are you all dressed up for." Edward says to me. "Because today is Best Friends Day." I say looking at Vanessa. I smile as she gasps.

"Is that today already?" She asks. I nod sadly knowing she forgot. "I-its okay if you don't want to do anything today." I shrug.

She jumps across her bed and jumps on me with a big hug and I can't help but smile and hug her back. She's so warm and I love it. "Of course I want to do something with you. Today is a special day."

"What is best friends day?" Edward asks as he pulls Vanessa towards him. She lets me go and sits on Edward's lap. "Today is Best Friends Day because today is the day me and Marcel met five years ago." Vanessa says as she plays with Edward's hair.

I Nod agreeing with her. "So I'm gonna get ready for today and then we'll get going." She says as she walks into her bathroom. She leaves me in the same room with Edward.

The room goes quiet and he stares at me. "So what do you two plan on doing?" Edward asks. "I'm not sure yet but I promise we'll have fun." "When are we getting back?" He asks another question but I give him a confused look. "We?" "Yeah I thought I was going too."

"Yeah, see there is a problem with that. Today is best friends day, not Best friends and boyfriend/brother day." I state a little scared. He laughs. "Alright, I'll go to Louis' house." He says getting up and walking in the bathroom.

"Aaaaahhhh!!" Vanessa scrams. "Edward! I'm naked!" She screams and I blush at her statement. "Nothing I haven't seen before." He chuckles and my heart shatters.

I frown. I don't know why I'm so upset. They're dating. This is what happens when you date. I guess I just didn't want to face the fact that Edward swooped in out of nowhere and stole the girl of my dreams and I'm just stuck on the sidelines.

I look up and see Edward kiss her and close the door. "Alright bye Bro." He says to me and I say, "Bye." "Marcel come in here so you're not all lonely." She states. I walk in and she's in her pink robe. The room is steamy since she just cane out of the shower.
