It was Sunday afternoon and I was getting ready for mine and Edward's first date. I straightened my hair and put a red roses flower crown.

I wore a blue and white striped shirt and some red high waisted shorts with 6 gold buttons.

I tucked the shirt in a bit but left it a little loose. I put on my red converse with my white ankle socks.

Edward told me not to wear fancy clothing because he's not into that stuff. He said it would be a surprise so I don't know where we're going.

I finished my hair and my makeup which is just some winged eyeliner and a bit of lipstick.

The doorbell rang and I let Edward in. "Hey love. You look lovely." I kissed his cheek. He was wearing his usual outfit.

Just a white t-shirt and black skinny's. His arm tattoos showing. His hair looked extra curly today, but he looked good.

"I told you not to dress up." He said closing the door with a slanted smile. "I didn't." I said looking at my outfit. "Well you look better than me."

"Oh, well, Do you want me to change?" "No you still look beautiful." He said leaning down and kissing the top of my head.

"Are you ready?" He asked looking at me. His green eyes were bright and beautiful. "Mhmm" I nodded.

"Alright, let's go." He said smiling. He opened the door for me and ran to his side of the car.

"Where are we going?" "It's a surprise." He said smirking. I huffed and put my seatbelt on. "I just hope you like it." He said a bit nervous.

"I'll love it. I promise." "I don't want you to say that because that's what I want to hear. I want you to mean it, so tell me what you think at the end of the date." He said sincerely holding my hand.

"Alright, I'll be honest." "Okay"

He held my hand the rest of the way.

We went to this park. It had a play ground and a bench close by.

"Well I brought a blanket but I guess we can sit on the bench." Edward said grabbing a blanket and picnic basket from the back seat. I didn't notice they were back there.

We got out of the car and he held my hand. "Erm I didn't know what kinds of food you would like but Marcel helped me out, so I hope you like it." I smiled because that means he actually put some thought and care into this date.

We sat down across from eachother and opened up the basket. He took out a bowl of mixed fruit and some Sandwhiches.

"Uh Marcel made yours, so if you don't like it blame him." I giggled and he smiled. "I'm sure it's tasty." I smiled at him.

"Uh I was going to take you out to eat but my Mum gave me this idea." "I like this better." I said taking a bite out of my sandwich.

"Good because fancy restaurants are boring." I laughed at his comment.

"You look good today by the way." "Thanks again love." "Oh I already told you?" "Yeah but it's okay." I smiled.

"Why do you seem nervous." I said looking into his eyes. "Because this is our first official date. I want to impress you." He said looking at his food.

"You don't have to impress me. You already caught my eye." I said looking at him. I've never seen this side of him and it's different. I really like this Edward, it's adorable.

About an hour later we left to his house. The date went really good.

"Hello love, how are you?" Anne greeted me with a hug. "I'm good, I had a really good time." I said looking up at Edward smiling.

"That's great, I hope you guys have a good time and if you two are still hungry, pizza is being delivered in about 5 more minutes.

I left money on the counter." She said as she left.

"I'm gonna go up to Marcel's room and thank him for the Sandwhich." I said kissing Edward's cheek.

I ran upstairs and knocked on the door. "Come in." He said. I walked in and see Lucy.
