The Fair

Vanessa's Pov

It's Friday! I'm still in 3rd period which is Technology Core. Edward is sitting in front of me, typing his essay.

I finished mine a bit earlier but I'm making sure he does his work.

It's the end of 3 weeks of school and he already has a D in this class. I still have an A in all my classes and plan on keeping it like that for as long as I can.

Me and Edward have been on plenty of dates since he's asked me. Today we're going on another date.

We're going to the Fair. I'm so excited they have a bunch of rides and food there so it's going to be fun. "I finished." He said printing it out.

"It's about time." I teased. "Oh shutup." He said walking over to the printer.

"Edward! Please watch your mouth!" Mrs.Ruiz scowled. "Sorry" He laughed. He sat back down and we started talking.

The bell rang and we got our stuff and turned off our computers. "Bye Vanessa." A group of freshman boys waved at me. "Bye" I waved back.

"Do you even know them." Edward said holding my hand. "No. They just always tell me Hi and Bye. So I say it back." He nodded.

He walked me to my group. "You want to sit down?" "No. I don't know anyone except you. Plus I'm going to the store. Do you want anything."

"No it's okay. Marcel asked me earlier so he's getting me a drink." I said looking at him.

"Alright. I'll be back in a bit." He said kissing me. He left the group and it was just me and some of my friends.

"Are you two dating." Someone asked. "Yeah we are." I said smiling thinking about Edward.

"Here you go love." Marcel said handing me my Pepsi. "Thanks boo." "You're welcome. I'll see you later." He said a bit nervous.

Everyone in the group was looking at him. "Alright bye, love." I said waving him bye.

"Can I talk to you." My smile left my face and chills ran down my back. "Uh no I don't think we should." I told him.

"Come here." He said pulling my arm. He pulled us away from the group.

"What." I said coldly. "Are you serious! You're already dating someone else! How can you move on so quick." Brad spat.

"Shutup! Don't talk to me like you loved me." "I do fucking love you." "Bullshit. Stop acting like you care. I'm happy now. If you do love me let me be happy."

"No fucking way I'm letting you leave my life that easy." "Well you already have. Bye." I said walking away. I turned my head and bumped into a very hard chest.

"Why were you talking to him." Edward said hard. "He dragged me away with him. Don't worry about him."

"I have to worry. I don't want to kick his ass." I laughed but he was serious. He just kept staring at Brad.

I grabbed his face and kissed his lips. "Edward. Please don't worry about him. He's stupid and I have no more feelings for him." "Okay. I know you don't like him anymore." He said kissing me back.

The bell rang and I was off to Math. I had this class with Harry. I couldn't find him so I just left to class.

I walked up stairs and in to the class. There were only a couple of people in there. Harry was in there.

"Hello Harry." I said sitting down next to him. "Hey Vanessa" He smiled. "Did you do your homework." He asked worried. "Yeah. Why? Did you?" "No" "Oh." "I don't want to stay after school today."

Our Math teacher says if you don't do your homework then you have to stay after school a couple of minutes.

I felt a bit bad for Harry. He doesn't have to stay after school. I got my Homework out and erased my name and put 'Harry Styles' I got up and turned it in.

I sat down and texted Edward saying not to wait for me and to just leave because I have to stay after school.

I put my phone away and started the math warm up. We went through class laughing and talking but we also got all our work done.

"Okay I wanted to let the people who have to stay after school today know." Harry sighed at the teachers words. I just smiled at him.

"James, Peter, Larissa, and Vanessa. Have to stay after school today."

"Um I think he messed up." Harry said looking at me. "No. I put your name on my paper. Now go home." I said pushing him out the door. "Thanks Vanessa." He said kissing my cheek.

"Vanessa. Please sit down." I sighed and sat down. We could do anything there but we have to stay quiet.

I just stayed on my phone and sat down. I was practically falling asleep then he said we can go. We were like the only ones at the school.

I walked to the front of the school and started to walk home.

Edward brought me to school and I told him to leave so I walked home. I turned the corner and found Zayn smoking.

"Hey Vanessa." He said waving at me. "Hi Zayn." "Where are you going." He said throwing his ciggarette on the ground and stepping on it.

"I'm walking home." I said sighing. "I'll take you home. Come." "Okay" I said. Zayn's car was nice. He had a Lexus. It was brand new. He got in and I got in.

"Do you know where I live?" "Yeah everyone knows where you live. You have the biggest house anyone's ever seen." He laughed. I just smiled and nodded. He took me home.

"Thank you Zayn. I'll see you at the fair in a bit." "Alright love. I'll see you there."

"Finally you're home." I hear as I open the door." "How did you get in." I said alarmed. "Hector let me in."

"Oh. Who's home." "No one. Just me and you." "Oh well let me change. I feel gross." "No you look good babe." "I do?" "Yeah, you do." "Well you ready to go."

"Yeah just let me grab something from my room." I said running up the stairs."

I ran all the way to my room. And grabbed some cash for me and Edward. Also some deodorant and perfume and put those on.

I slid down the handle and landed on my feet. "Now I'm ready."

We walked hand in hand to his car. I opened the door and got in. "Alright let's go." We got there and barely found a parking spot. We got off and paid the entrance fee and went in.

There is food stands every where and kids running around. "Are you hungry?" I asked him. "A bit are you?" "No, but I'll eat if you're hungry." "Alright let's go." He got a Pizza slice and I got a Hamburger. We ate and we finished.

We held hands and walked around. We didn't get on the rides because Edward was too scared to get on. I sighed. I wanted to get on but I decided to stay with him. It was already 6 in the afternoon.

"I wanted to talk to you about something." Edward said pulling me close to him and to a corner. "What is it." I asked looking at him. His green eyes staring down at me. He was playing with his lip rings.

"Em Will you be my girlfriend?" I felt butterflies in my stomach. I was blushing like crazy and nodded. "Yes I'd love to." "Good" He said kissing me.
