School went by painfully slow. We all walked to the car at the end of the day. I had convinced Anna to come over so I didn't have to deal with my brother and Kace alone.
"So, Soph, anyone in school peak your interest?" Anna asked. Truth? No. No one in our school is interesting. They're all filthy rich, richer than my family, and they all act it. It's like gossip girl meets mean girls in 2021. Every guy is either a perv or entitled. That's the only slightly good thing about Kace. He has had to work his whole life when his mom and dad-
"Hello?" Anna said cutting me out of my thoughts, waving a hand in front of my face.
"Sorry. I was thinking. And I think no." I said laughing. "Have you met the kids here? Away from the three people in this car, everyone sucks."
"Um there are four people in this car." Kace said, turning his head.
"Oh I know." I said, smirking. I winked at him sarcastically and he rolled his eyes.
"What about Jake? He seemed incredibly interested in you." He said, smirking.
"Shut up." I said, hitting his chair.

We walked into James' room while Sophia and her friend walked into her room.
I despise her. Sophia. Her friend is fine, James is deeply in love with her. It's Sophia that's a problem. She tries so hard, it's annoying.
Sophia has always tried hard. She tries hard to look good, she tries hard to stay out of trouble, and she always, always tries hard in school. School is the one thing she tries hard in and always succeeds in.
I'll hand it to the psychopath, she's extremely smart, and that can be terrifying. She is beyond intimidating to everyone, except me, of course.
To me, she's just a high strong bitch. But to everyone else, she's special. Whether that's good or bad.
She never has to try to get the guys attention, they just all bow down at her feet and kiss the ground she walks on.
She's overhyped. When you know her, you know she is the exact same as every other girl, just worse.
And trust me.
I wish I didn't know her.

"I have to tell you something, but don't get mad." Oh no. She knows not much can make me mad. This must be bad.
"I may like your brother." This is what was going to make me mad?
I quickly realized I have two options.
1) be truthful and tell her I'm happy.
2) be mean and pretend to be mad.
I obviously chose the second option.
"What? No, you can't! That's terrible! You're the worst, oh my gosh!" I said sarcastically. When I finished, I did the dramatic death from Romeo and Juliet '95 version, falling to the ground.
