Chapter twenty-three

Sophia

It's the day. I was helping Zach with his tie while he just stared down at me.

"What would happen if I just didn't go?" He asked, throwing his head back.

"You need to do this, Zach. It's going to help you, ok. Listen screw everyone else. You need to go for yourself." I said, finishing his tie. "And if you really don't want to go, then don't. Stay here or we can go to dinner I don't care. Just, really think about this."

He looked down at me and started smiling. "We still on for our deal?" He asked.

My face heated up and I looked away from him as his eyes still burned into me. "Yeah. We're still on." I said, trying not to blush.

"Good." He whispers before kissing my cheek. "We need to leave soon."

"Yeah?" I asked looking at him.

"Only because of our deal." He said, pointing his finger at me. I nodded at him, my face pretending to be serious. "I love you." He leaned down to me while I put my arms around his neck.

"I love you too." I said.

"Didn't you say you didn't like it when I said 'too'?" He asked, laughing.

"Yeah I don't like it when you say too." I said, smiling innocently. "I need to get dressed." I said, pulling back.

"You mean you aren't wearing this?" He said, eyes scanning my body. In the midst of getting him ready, I hadn't changed clothes yet, meaning I was still in the shirt he gave me last night and no pant.

"Shut up." I said, walking away before feeling a slap. "Ow, you bitch." I said, turning towards Zach who had a smug look on his face.

"It was there, what else was I supposed to do." He said, backing up as I walked towards him.

"You don't hit it!" I screamed, jumping on him.

"Well that's not fair, I'm a man and you're my very hot girlfriend." He said, gripping my legs as I wrapped them around his waist.

"So you're admitting you're a perv?" I said, looking in his eyes.

"Only when it comes to you." He said, kissing me.

I got down and walked into my closet to pick out what to wear. Once I got dressed, I walked out to see Zach sitting on my bed, his phone in hand.

"You ready to do this?" I asked, walking over to him. He put his phone down as I stood between his legs.

"Only if you're there with me." He said, putting his hands on my thigh.

I leaned down and grabbed his face. "Always." I mumbled against his lips. He kissed me, smiling into the kiss. I broke the kiss, making him pout. "Let's go. We can't be late." I said, grabbing his hand as we left.

"You go start the car, I need to grab something from your mom really quick." He said as we walked down stairs.

"You mean i get to touch your car? Wow you really do love me." I said grabbing his keys. That car is the first thing he ever bought without his family's help. He worked for months to buy it and I swear he loves it more than me. He scoffed while walking away from me.
