Sayori POV -

I open my eyes. Blurry lines and hazy images stare back at me. Panicked thoughts fill my head - Where am I ?  Why am I here? Aren't I supposed to be dead?! My vision clears more, like graphics suddenly turning HD on a TV. What a coincidence, as I was a part of a video game, a character that other people look at, nothing more. I barely had control over things I said or did. A gust of wind jolts me back into reality. Huh? Who's there? I can barely think straight. I sit up, and instantly regret as multicolored swirls of light beam into my frazzled and distracted mind. I clear my head with a quick shake. Leaves of every colour fill my eyesight, a beautiful forest filled with every shade of green imaginable. The air is sweet, and filled with the fragrance of flowers.

My hair is filled with grass stalks and I quickly attempt to brush it, accidently moving my red bow. I stand up, relishing the feeling of ground underneath my feet again. I spin around, trying to figure out what direction to start moving. I feel despair and hopelessness, How am I meant to find my way out of here? Sadness starts to bloom in me, but I push it down firmly. I need to find a way out and being said isn't going to help at all. I tentatively take a step forward, then another. A bird shrieks above me, and I yelp out in fright. I'm lost and alone in a strange world and I'm so hungry!  My stomach rumbles, reminding me of the last time I ate. When was it, days? Months? Years?

I have no clue. Ever since, the ah, fateful incident, I don't remember anything. A voice jolts me out of my thoughts, I look around and see a person in some sort of funky, old, pirate-like uniform. "Who are you?" they ask in a menacing tone, with a sword pointed to my chest. I soon realise what a grave mistake I made. Is this the end, the actual end?!
