~Sayori POV~
I'm hidden in a bush near the white house, waiting patiently for Tubbo. I need to talk to him, I need to know what he knows. We're all stuck in a dangerous time, or rather, game. It's one hour before the festival starts. Tubbo has gone back to Schlatt to pretend he's still his ally. I'm worried for him. What if Schlatt mistreats him or figures out our plan? What would happen to Tubbo? I can't let anything happen to him. I won't let it. I refuse. He was the first one to welcome me into L'manburg, to treat me like a friend. His kindness touched me, and I feel like I understand him the most. Though he gets along more well with Tommy. Well, he mostly follows Tommy around while Tommy makes stupid decisions that cost us all dearly. But we love him. Footsteps emerge from behind the bush. Tubbo must be here! But I don't emerge from the bush just yet. Better make sure it is Tubbo before I act. The footsteps stop right outside the entrance of the white house before knocking. I frown, trying to press my face against the leaves of the bush so that I can see what's going on but so I'm still concealed and hidden. I look at the shoes of whoever was making the footsteps. I gasp. It isn't Tubbo. It's Dream. What's he doing here? All of a sudden, his eyes scan the area, narrowing as he peers at my bush. My breath stops as my heart accelerates. Does he know I'm here? I have a bad feeling about this. But I remain hidden. The door to the white house swings open. Schlatt stands there, his face angry and full of malice. "What do you want?" he snarls. I secretly grin. This is going to be interesting."I have a proposal to make." Dream calmly interjects."I don't want anything to do with you!" yells Schlatt, "Damn traitors trying to ruin everything!" Dream raises an eyebrow, unfazed by Schlatt's outburst. "I understand your anger, but hear me out," he says, his voice steady. "This proposal could benefit both of us in ways you can't even imagine." Schlatt narrows his eyes at Dream, a mixture of curiosity and suspicion flickering across his face. "Fine," Schlatt finally concedes begrudgingly, "Give me your proposal then, but make it quick." Dream nods, his expression unwavering. "We better go inside," he says, his eyes flicking towards the bush, "Who knows who could be listening." A pang of fear shoots through me. Is he talking about me? I have to know what he's plotting. I carefully inch my way to I carefully inch my way to the edge of the bush, straining to hear their conversation. As I lean in closer, my heart pounding in my chest, I catch snippets of their hushed voices."Alliance....
Discs....
L'manburg.....
Alliance.....
Blow.....
up.....
Plan.....
Revenge."
I've heard enough. Time to get out of here. I didn't really understand what they were talking about, but I think that even knowing this much means I'm in danger.
The conversation is all I think about as I run back to the mountain, praying that the whole battle about to come won't turn out to be a huge mistake.
At least Tubbo will have some time to be back before the festival, as Schlatt has now pardoned him of his duties until the festival actually starts. I have a bad feeling about this.
Author's note: I'm so sorry if this doesn't make any sense! I will edit later hopefully! Please enjoy still :)
