Park

Y/n POV: we were arranging all of our things until we heard a knock.. it was that Harry kid "whats up bro" he said to Dre "hey" he responded "there's a park not to far from here I was wondering if you wanted to go play some basketball?" Dre looked at mom "yea you should go meet some new people and get a good look around the place" mom said "thanks mom" he was about to leave until Harry asked " what about your sister?" He asked " what about her?" Dre asked "hold on" he told Dre "y/n" he said my name very awkwardly "huh?" I replied while fixing some books "wanna come to the park with me and your brother?" He asked shyly "uh" I said kinda awkwardly "you should go y/n look around see if you make some friends you wanted to start fresh here's your chance" mom said "but don't you need help?" I asked because she has a thing about overworking herself "don't worry sweetie you helped so much already just go and make some friends Kay?" She smiled and held my face "okay I'll be back soon take breaks and drink water okay?" I told her "yes yes now go" she said pushing me, I grabbed my soccer ball and headed to the park with Dre and Harry.

"Y/n you play soccer?" Harry asked "yea" I responded kicking the ball a bit away every step   "for how long have you been playing" he asked he sounds interested it's weird "8 years" I replied kinda sounding bored "that's a long time!" He said shockingly. I laughed a bit and then continued walking next to Dre. "Yeah yeah y/n has played for a long time but where's the park?" Dre asked sounding annoyed. "Just a bit ahead" Harry replied.

When we got there they immediately went to the basketball court and started playing. I went into a quiet area alone and started juggling and assisting the ball there was a tall tree and I decided to kick the ball at the tree and do some air Assists I started with my laces and worked my way up to my thigh then to my chest then to my head. I noticed a girl practicing the violin she was pretty good at it her fingers were wrapped nicely around the neck of the violin and her fingers neatly pressed on the strings I played the violin once never doing that again I went up to her. "Hey I'm y/n" I introduced myself in Chinese. Hi I'm Meiying" she smiled at me her smile was beautiful I smiled back and asked if I could sit next to her, she neatly picked up her things and I sat down we watched Dre and Harry play for a bit and Dre uhm let's just say he wasn't the best and I let him know " you suck ass bro" meiying's widened he glared at me but looked at meiying and he smiled at her I notice she smiled too she looked a bit red. Oh I see what's going on here. You smirked at him and continued talking with meiying "so meiying do you think the kid in braids is cute?" I asked I think I came off a bit too strong because she immediately got tomato red "w-what are you t-talking about!?" she panicked. I laughed "I'm joking meiying" I laughed a bit after saying that.

A few minutes later a ping pong ball came across the basketball court Dre picked it up and decided to go against an old mad I was confused why because he would never do that in Detroit then it hit me. To impress meiying. He won once he looked proud but then that's when I realized the old man was going easy on him. The old man came in strong and hit the ball pretty hard even Dre got scared he gave up and went back to the court.  I told meiying that he was getting embarrassing so I was gonna go play for a bit with my soccer ball she said okay and to be safe.

Dre's POV:
"Go talk to her bro" Harry kept telling me "you keep looking at her go talk to her..or are you scared?" He teased "I'm not scared of anything" I told him and when y/n left I went to talk to her. I introduced myself in English and she looked at me confused "oh right no English" I muttered to myself  I tried in Chinese but she giggled and said "you're saying hi in a sad way" i was shocked she spoke English!? "You speak English I do too" I said while pointing at myself. I noticed she was listening to music I showed her mine and started dancing.

Third person POV:
While he was dancing he was unaware that cheng and his friends were coming up to them "you should be practicing" cheng said "I am practicing" meiying argued back " if you were you wouldn't need these" he threw her papers on the floor "bro what's your problem!?" Dre said picking up the papers but cheng slapped them out of his hands again. Once again he picked them up and cheng slapped them to the floor on the third try he knew it was coming and moved them to the right of him. Cheng slapped his face to the floor but Dre got up and got into a fighting stance. Cheng motioned him to come at him when Dre did cheng swooped his leg and Dre fell on his face he tried to attack once more and cheng threw him over his shoulder and he fell on the floor knocking the air out of him Harry tried to stop it but cheng told him to get out of the way. Dre luckily got a good hit on cheng but he bounced back very quickly he kicked him in the chest and punched him in the eye.  Before walking away cheng felt a quick sharp pain on the side of his face before falling down

Y/n POV:

Yes I saw people fighting but I didn't pay attention to it until I saw braids and I made it right when it ended I felt so much anger and I ended up putting my ball down positioned my self and kicked it as hard as I could. The ball went dashing through the air and I ended up hitting that kid who beat up Dre on the side of the face and he fell down. A lot of people were shocked and looked In my direction I walked up to Dre and checked his face "I'm okay leave me alone" he tried to get out of my grip I just tightened it "let me do what I have to do Dre" I told him he stopped struggling and let me check "the rest are fine the one on your eye is definitely gonna bruise though you have to ice it when we get home" I told him "yeah okay". "Now wait here" I told him "Harry! Look after him k?" I told Harry "yeah sure" he responded. I walked up to the kid that ended up beating Dre up and he was stumbling while getting up I tapped his shoulder and when he turned around I roundhouse kicked him at that moment he was knocked out the ball hit him in between the eye and the forehead but he's alright. I turned to his friends "he will wake up in 5-10 minutes or so if he does then ok if he doesn't take him to the doctor". I said in Chinese I saw in the corner of my eye and saw one of his friends come at me I ducked and swooped my leg under and he fell on the floor "you guys are mad aggravating" I said and attempted to walk away but then someone hit me in the face my lip was bleeding I turned to see one of that mean kid's friends but it was..a girl she was tall,blond ,slim blue eyes. I smile a bit "that affected me yes but it didn't hurt" she was shocked "what's your name?" I asked "Ashley" she responded sounding shocked still "well Ashley I'm gonna let that punch slide because it didn't hurt..but if you ever touch me again I will beat the living shit out of you okay?" I threatened "tch whatever just don't touch Cheng like that again" she said. Cheng? Is that his name? "See you later Ashley" I said while walking away
