Me and you (Cheng x reader)

The chase!

Y/n POV:
I decided to follow my brother since he was probably going to get into some trouble and I want to back him up I stayed not too far away from him and I'm not gonna lie I was pretty nervous on what he was gonna do but I was also confused on why he is gonna do it if he knows what will happen to him. I saw him notice a bucket full of dirty water, oh god I thought to myself as I followed a bit closer. Chengs friends were sitting on some steps while cheng was doing some routine I believe he learned in his Kung fu class I saw Dre getting ready to run so I calmed my breathing keeping it steady and when he took off I was right behind him, he splashed the water cheng wasn't really touched by the water but his friends were they all gasped when the cold dirty liquid touched their skin and then looked at us

we started sprinting as fast as we could with them right behind us. We were doing a bunch of jumping over stuff it was kind of fun but very terrifying at the same time "what the hell dre" I said while running next to him "oh hey y/n" he said between breaths "you dumbass" I said. My endurance is pretty good and I barely have trouble running so I'm not so tired "god were gonna get our ass beat" I said jumping over some boxes "not if they don't catch us" Dre said "look" he said looking forward "run past me and I will drop those green crates" he said, I nodded and ran faster after I went past him the crates went flying down it gave us a few seconds to get away but they were still pretty fast so it wasn't much help. We ran into some gate and closed it we locked it with some wire. We closed our eyes and took a very long deep breath.

My eyes snapped open when I saw them climbing over I tried looking for a way out but when we found one they caught us and pulled us down. We winced in pain when the concrete made contact with our skin. ah shit that burns like a bitch. I closed my eyes we got up and made a run for the gate but when we got there it was locked. These mother fuckers-, I thought while leaning on the gate. They took Dre and his friends grabbed me "let go of me!" I said trying to get out of their grip. "You're fast" cheng said while evilly grinning at Dre I saw Dre he looked scared "but not fast enough" cheng finished while punching him in the stomach "No! Wait! Please let go!" I said once again. I looked at cheng and he looked right back at me but he seemed sad almost even hurt, I look up at who was holding my arms oh! It's Liang I've seen him with cheng. I thought while looking at what I could use to get out of his grip this foo stronger than a mf. I mentally sighed while thinking what to do but I couldn't think of anything. I saw Dre getting beat up and I felt my nose getting all tingly which means I'm about to cry.

A tear slipped out of my eye as another tear followed. He was on the floor barely breathing "Dre!" I yelled "shut up" liang muttered "let me go then!" My eyes were red from crying and there were still tears coming out. Liang looked like he wanted to let go but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to let go "please" I cried silently then I felt the grip loosen I look up at him he had a weak smile "I'm sorry" he whispered. I ran to Dre immediately just as cheng was about to punch him I slid and covered Dre I braced myself for his punch but nothing happened I look up and see..the maintenance man?

"Now what the fu-" I cut off when mr Han pushed cheng back. All of his friends circled around Mr.Han and got into a fighting stance they all attacked or well attempted to hit Mr.Han but he blocked every single one of their hits in reality he wasn't beating them up they were beating themselves up. I looked at Dre and told him to copy my breathing so that It would be steady. When everyone was on the floor I looked at my wrists they were bruised from Liang, Mr.Han picked Dre up and started walking towards the gate "I'll be right there give me a sec" I said walking towards cheng "okay hurry up" Mr. Han said. I nodded and continued walking.

"you're a coward did you know that?" I said bending down to his level "why am I the coward? He deserved to get beat up you saw what he did to me and you still defend him?" He raised his voice bit  while sitting up. "YOU we're the one who deserved it when we first met you beat up Dre for talking to meiying, think about it just for talking to a girl! " I said raising my voice too I stood up "I'm really close to meiying that's why and I didn't have to tell you the reason why I did that because what does that have to do with you" he asked but there was jealousy in his eyes when I mentioned Dre and meiying. wow alright then, I thought "if you care so much about her then go ahead and date her" I said jealousy ringing in my voice "I might as well huh?" Cheng answered. My heart ached when those words spilled out of his mouth. I nod and start to walk away but I stopped everything that happened on the bus flowed in my mind I took a breath and roundhouse kick him in the face.

When I walked out I saw Mr.Han carrying Dre I ran up to them and they both looked at me "what's up" I said walking "were you crying?" Mr.Han asked "huh? Oh just a bit" I said wiping the remaining tears on my face. When we made it to Mr.Hans place he told me to sit in a chair and wait I looked at what he was doing he lit some cotton looking thing on fire and circled it around some light bulbs before putting the cotton on a different container with the light bulbs he was sticking them onto Dre for a few seconds before putting them down this is when he did something not so normal he grabbed the fire with his hands rubbing them together and then massaging Dre with the fire but Dre didn't seem to faze at all I was shocked my jaw was practically on the floor "hey it doesn't hurt anymore" Dre said sitting up "ancient Chinese healing" Mr.Han said "now what the actual fu-" I was about to finish until Dre interrupted "you know Kung fu Mr.Han I thought you were just a maintenance man" i just stood there "you think only with your eyes" Mr.Han said looking at him "have you ever taught someone Kung foo?" Dre asked "no" Mr.Han said simply "well would you?" Dre asked another question "depends" "on what?" "Reason" "what if it's to avoid getting your ass beat" dre said. It just kept going on and on until dre said he wanted to go to chengs dojo to make peace or something "good idea" Mr.Han started "and you're coming with me too right?" Dre questioned "no" Mr.Han finished "but you said it was a good idea-" Dre almost finished until "good idea for you bad idea for me to get involved" Mr.han said. Somehow Dre guilt tripped him into going so now tomorrow we're going to the dojo. Yay I said sarcastically in my head.
