Me and you (Cheng x reader)

Meeting his parents..

Nervousness, that's all I felt as I walked up to Cheng's house, "god damn it there's no going back now huh?" I take a deep breath and knock on the door. A beautiful woman who I assume is Cheng's mother opened the door. She gasped a bit "you must be y/n! Oh Cheng has told me A LOT about you, come in come in" she smiled stepping to the side letting me in. I smiled and thanked her as I walked in. "You're so beautiful! I can see why he likes you so much" she smiled sweetly at me. "Oh haha! Thank you so much" I awkwardly laughed and smiled. "Mom stop it you're making her uncomfortable!" I heard a familiar voice say. "Hey y/n" cheng says smiling at me. "Hey cheng" i smiled. "Let's go sit down and eat dinner, I'm sure Cheng's dad wants to meet you too" Cheng's mom placed her hand on my back and led me to the table, but just as I got there I saw a man sitting in a chair who I assumed was Cheng's father waiting for us. "Hello sir, it's a pleasure meeting you, I'm y/n L/n" I placed my hand out signaling a hand shake. He was intimidating, I can see where cheng got his eyes from.

He took my hand and shook it firmly. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, cheng just wouldn't stop ranting about you so I thought I had to meet you." He replaced his serious face with a soft smile. I blushed at the thought of cheng ranting about me. We sat down and we began to eat. "So y/n do you play a sport?" Cheng's dad asked me. "Yes I do, I play soccer" I smiled. "Oh! How long have you been playing for?" His mom asked me. "Uh id say for 8 years now" I said slowly nodding my head. "Oh so you've been pretty committed to it" Cheng's dad says "yes I have it's a sport I've been playing almost my whole life" I smiled at my thoughts of accomplishment.

"That's good that's good, you don't happen to know Kung fu do you?" His father asked me. "Yes she does, she's really good at it" Cheng interferes smiling and takes a hold of my hand softly.
"Really? Hm that's nice" he nods. "And what about your parents? What do they do?" Cheng's mom asked. "My mom works at a car manufacturing company. My father uh" I didn't know what to say. I felt Cheng's had grip mine. I looked at him, he had a reassuring smile on his face it felt so nice having someone smile at me like that. "My father is not in my life" I said. "Oh I'm sorry sweetie" his mom gave me a sympathetic smile.

"It's okay miss, I work hard everyday as a reminder that I don't need him nor a father figure in my life, just me rolling solo" I had a serious face as I said that. "Well not for too long, Haha, cause soon you're going to be my daughter in law" Cheng's dad laughed. "Dad! That's not funny!" Cheng said looking red. "I look forward to it more in the future" I smiled. Chengs face got even redder. "I like her! She's so fun" his mom nudged him.

"Well I better get going, thank you so much for the dinner and it was a pleasure meeting you guys, I hope I can invite you both for dinner soon" I smiled getting up. "We're looking forward to it !" Cheng's mom smiled. "I'll walk you home" cheng smiled. "Thank you"

"They really like you y/n" cheng says grabbing my hand. "I like them too they're sweet and funny" I smiled.

About 5 minutes later we made it outside my apartment complex. "Thank you for the dinner Cheng" I hugged him. "Thank you for being there" he pulled away placing a soft kiss on my lips.

"I'll see you Tomorrow right?" He said walking backwards, "yea for sure just watch out you're going to fall-" and with that he trips on a curb and falls backwards. I bursted out laughing. "Are you going to help me up?" Cheng scoffed. I walk over to him holding my stomach that was starting to hurt from laughter and kneeled beside him. "Ahhh cheng I love you so much." I say taking a deep breath. "Sure doesn't feel like it if I'm still on the floor" he mumbled looking away. "I-I just can't-"
I started laughing again. "It wasn't even that funny!?" Cheng said pouting. "To you!" I said laughing. "Okay okay okay get up now" I said putting my hand out for him to grab onto.

"You're so annoying" cheng playfully rolled his eyes. "It just keeps on replaying and replaying in my head." I laughed. "Alright though you should go home now it's getting late." I said.

"Fine fine" he said almost turning around. I grabbed his face and kissed him on the cheek and walked to my apartment. "Don't fall on your way there!" I said walking backwards but I already knew this place like the back of my hand. "Yea whatever y/n-" he turned to see me and just as he turned I fell to the ground I had tripped over a little toy on the floor. "Ah fuck!" I said rolling on the floor. On the other side of me was my annoying boyfriend laughing his ass off. "The hell you laughing at?" I said wincing in pain. "Sorry but that was hilarious" he said wheezing. I got up and tackled him onto the grass. "Not so funny now huh" I said. I didn't realize the position we were in. I was sitting on his waist and he was flat on the floor. "Was still very humorous" he smirked. "You don't know how bad I wanna smack that smirk off your face right now" I glared at him. "But you won't beautiful let's just go home"  . He said playing with the strands of hair on my face. I flicked his forehead before getting off. He winced a bit. "I never liked those" he said rubbing his forehead. "Good night cheng!" I waved goodbye and walked to my apartment. "Good night y/n!" He laughed and walked home.
