BUILDING

The room is dark, lit mostly by firelight. Castiel is standing in the center of a ring of fire. He notices the other person in the room.

"Lucifer." Castiel Says

"So I take it you're here with the Winchesters." Lucifer Says

"I came alone." Castiel Says

"Loyalty. Such a nice quality to see in this day and age. Castiel, right? Castiel. I'm told you came here in an automobile." Lucifer Says

"Yes." Castiel Says

"What was that like?" Lucifer Asks

Castiel looks around, "Um. Slow. Confining."

"What a peculiar thing you are." Lucifer Says

Castiel Has a good view of Lucifer, he does not look healthy. A closeup of his face shows what looks like burns.

"What's wrong with your vessel?" Castiel Asks

"Yes. Um. Nick is wearing a bit thin, I'm afraid. He can't contain me forever, so—" Lucifer Says

"You.." Castiel Says

Castiel steps forward, apparently intending to get in Lucifers face, but stops short; the fire separates them.

"You are not taking Sam Winchester. I won't let you." Castiel Says

"Castiel. I don't understand why you're fighting me, of all the angels" Lucifer Says

"You really have to ask" Castiel Says

"I rebelled, I was cast out. You rebelled, you were cast out. Almost all of heaven wants to see me dead, and if they succeed, guess what? You're their new public enemy number one. We're on the same side, like it or not, so why not just serve your own best interests? Which in this case just happen to be mine" Lucifer Says

"I'll die first." Castiel Says

"I suppose you will." Lucifer Says

CITY STREET

Ellen, Elena, Corinna, Dean, Sam, and Jo are walking, shotguns in hands and looking around for trouble.

"Well, this is great, been in town twenty minutes and already lost the angel up our sleeve." Dean Says

"You think, uh, you think Lucifer got him" Sam Says

"I don't know what else to think." Dean Says

"There you are."

The Six hunters turn around due to the familiarity of the persons voice, they turn around to see that it's Meg.

"Meg." Sam Says

"Shouldn't have come here, boys." Meg Says

"Hell, I could say the same thing for you." Dean Says
As he aims the Colt at Meg.

"Didn't come here alone, Deano." Meg Says

Something splashes in a puddle near Meg's feet; the sounds of dogs growling and barking. Sam, Ellen, Corinna, Elena and Jo glance around for the source of the noise and so does Dean, but he is obviously pretending he's not afraid.

"Hellhounds." Dean Says

"Great" Corinna Says
