Cleo's POV
I watched as Chris pulled Rebecca along, supporting most of her weight before Arias shot at them causing Chris to pull them back to cover as one of his bullets grazed Rebecca making me mentally grit my teeth. "You just had to try and save them. You're so predictable, Chris. That's your weakness." As I ducked seeing Chris's gun come from the corner Arias turned to me and looked from the gun to where Chris and Rebecca were making my body move on its own. I stood, moving towards where Chris and Rebecca were as I saw Chris moving towards Arias. Rebecca jumped the moment my feet hit the floor next to her as I lifted the gun to her face making her blink as the tears slid down her cheeks. "Cleo..." She mumbled as I slowly squeezed the trigger. "I'm sorry." I said as I shot, shooting above her head making it seem to Arias like I had killed her. "Hide." I gritted out, the pain from disobeying Arias command hurt as Rebecca scrambled with what strength she had left to cover. I turned, shoving the thought of a dead Rebecca into my mind, and moved toward Arias and Chris as they landed hard onto the glass roof. I was silent, fighting against the command that Arias shot me quickly before Chris threw him through the glass roof. Chris panted heavily as he stood, looking towards me as I raised my gun at him. "Re...Re.." I bit out, finding it hard to speak and not shoot at Chris. "Hid." I said as my eyes moved to where I saw Rebecca go and he nodded, hands up as my gun followed him. I stayed still watching as Chris helped Rebecca before the mutated Arias pulled himself up making me gasp as my finger released the trigger, shooting towards Chris who was lifted into the air by Arias as my bullet hit Arias in the back making him grunt and turn towards me in anger.
The elevator dinged making us turn to look as Leon drove towards us fast on his bike, holding up his gun to at Arias who put Chris in front of him as a shield making Leon jump from the bike and use it to knock over Arias who dropped Chris. My eyes landed on Arias who motioned to Chris as he stood and grabbed Leon, hoisting him up and throwing him away from us. Arias and Leon continued to fight as I turned to Chris and Rebecca. "I'm sorry." I said as I raised the gun to which Chris dove for, knocking it from my hands quickly before kicking me back. "Me too." He grunted as he ran off and helped Rebecca as I laid against the floor, holding my broke ribs as I breathed allowing for the virus to fix them. I watched silently as Nadia and co came to Leon's rescue as I stood, finally feeling fixed as Arias jumped onto the Chopper before Leon used his bike to slam into Arias and blow him to high hell. "catch!" Leon shouted as he shot at Arias who refused to die, I ran to the edge as Arias looked up at me as Chris shot him one final time which a grenade launcher. Kill Yourself. Arias mouthed to me as he died making my eyes widen as my legs took steps backwards slowly, "Bye-Bye Asshole." I heard Chris as I breezed past Leon who watched me as I picked up my discarded pistol. I cocked it, checking that there were bullets in the thing as Leon and Chris turned to me. My movements were slow as I placed the gun to my temple, choaking back tears as I continued to fight against the hold of the virus in my body. "Cleo?" Leon said, eyes full of worry as I gasped, pain flooded me more as I continued to fight. "Shit!" Chris said, making Leon turn to him quickly before looking back at me. "Sweetheart, put the gun down." My arm shook as I bit back more tears. "I... Can't. Aliah... Arias... Control." Leon's eyes widened as he looked at me and rushed forward, gripping the gun, and trying to pull it down from my temple which I easily overpowered him. "Redfield!" Leon shouted making Chris growl. "I don't know! It must have been something he commanded before I managed to kill him!" Chris said, as he ran off looking for a cure. "Leon..." I mumbled, more tears slipping down my cheeks as we continued to struggle over the gun. "I love you... all." I said making his grip on me lessen slightly before I smiled at him and pulled the trigger, the fight in my body finally leaving me.
Leon's POV
My eyes widened as I felt the blood coat my face, the world was silent apart from the gun ringing out in my head. I watched as her body dropped in slow motion as my grip on her tightened as Rebecca and Chris ran over to us. "No.... NO!" Tears filled my eyes as my grip on her body tightened. Everything was falling apart around me, but I didn't care. "Leon." I heard after what felt like years as I looked up at Chris and Rebecca was silent her head down, but I could see her shoulder's heaving. "she.... She-" I couldn't even get the words out as they caught in my throat, and I held her body closer to my chest her blood smearing onto my clothes more. Chris's grip on my shoulder tightened as he choaked out a sob of his own. "I know... I know." Was all he whispered before he bent down pulling a syringe from his pocket with a frown. "I found the antidote..." He said softly as I nodded, motioning to her arm. "Give it to her... even – even though she's gone... I don't want.." he nodded, not needing to hear anymore as he administer the shot to Cleo. Silence fell over us for a moment as the virus in Cleo's body helped to close the wound she had created. I stood, holding Cleo's body tightly as we boarded the chopper and took off, administering the vaccine all over New York. The talk between Rebecca and Chris was quiet and low as I held onto Cleo's hand, praying for any kind of miracle. "Leon." I frowned, looking up at Chris who stood next to my bent form. "She's..." I grunted at him making him look down as he sighed but stepped away as I looked back at Cleo's face, she seemed at peace and her body was drained of colour at this point as my grip tightened on her hand as I pressed a small kiss to her knuckles. You got what you wanted Cleo... You're free. Finally free... I slowly let go of her hand a sad smile settling over me. Sleep well love... until we met again.
