Walking up to the house, Blue knocked loudly on the brown door, and soon enough heard several locks being undone, which confused Blue, Hmm. That's odd. I wonder why they have so many locks? Soon the door slowly opened, and a young Fox slowly peered round, almost like he was scared. After seeing the young Möbians, he let out a sigh of relief. "Hey, guys. What's the matter?" "Hi. We... I mean.. I, wanted to make sure that everything was ok." Blue asked, worried. "Y-yeah.. of course..? Why.. why wouldn't it be?" The fox, who Blue recognized as Tails, laughed nervously. He then looked behind him and saw that none other than Sonic was standing behind him, trying to see out the door. "Sonic. Go. Away." He mouthed at him.
"Well, there was a robot attack this morning... lots of civilians were almost injured. And Sonic never showed up. No one did."
Sonic forget about staying hidden, and shouted out, "wait, what!" He then looked out the door and saw the small group of three crowded around. "Oh, hey guys." He waved friendly at them, and Blue spoke up. "Hey, Sonic?" He asked in a polite tone, "There was an Eggman attack today. When nobody showed up to stop him, everyone was worried that something bad had happened to you. Even Eggman himself seemed confused," Sonic shook his head sadly, "This was bound to happen sooner or later. Though I'm surprised Eggman doesn't already know, but that's a massive relief." He then looked around at the three confused faces, and then at Tails, who nodded, "You best come in. It's not safe out here to say."

In the living room, Tails sat down and breathed heavily. "Did you not hear the news?" He asked them all, and the three looked at him confused, "I guess not." He sighed a bit, before continuing:
"Sonic's... had a bounty placed on him," Tails looked at his friend, who looked down at the floor. Blue, Christmas and Puro all gasped at this, "I'm not surprised..." Puro simply stared, and the other four all looked at her, and she continued, "Sonic's a famous hero, and is known almost everywhere, especially for his speed and bravery. I bet there's loads of villains and even scientists who would love to get their hands on him, even paying a lot to get their way." Blue nodded at this and Tails hugged his brother protectively. "No, I won't let them take you away again," Sonic struggled to get out of the fox's hold, "come on, dude. That's not gonna happen again, I promise. I'll be fine." He comforted the young kit.

"But what about the next time Eggman decides to attack?" Christmas asked the important question, and that's when it was Blue's turn to speak up, "I'll deal with him. I'm a powerful speed dragon, the last of my kind, I'm sure that I can handle an Egg and a few little robots," he told them confidently, and Sonic nodded. "For now, that's our only option. I can't show my face again until all this blows over. The G.U.N. are working their hardest to sort it out, but who knows how long that will take?" He explained, looking longingly out the window, desperate to run around in the wilderness, even if it was just for a few seconds.
"I'm sure that it won't take that long, they've got Shadow and Rouge on the case, right?" Blue asked, looking at Tails, and the cub nodded, "Yeah. They've already concluded that this isn't Eggman's doing. Besides, it's just not Eggman's style. He does everything himself, or," Tails chuckled a little, "he gets his robots to do the work for him," nodding, Puro looked across at Blue and Christmas, "Alright, I think that we've got enough information about it, we should leave," "Right!" Christmas agreed. "I've got an idea! Why don't you two come other to my house? My parents won't mind, and that way we can talk more about plans to keep Eggman in check," he excitedly announced, and Puro looked at Blue, "no..." she whispered, but Blue put his thumbs up, "We'd love to!" He then turned back to Puro, who was shaking her head, "come on, Puro. You said you need to get out more," He convinced, and Puro sighed, knowing that her friend was right.

Saying their goodbyes, the trio walked back down the large stone stairs and to the skyline placed where the train track used to be. To use it, you had to have a special pass, to prevent people from trying to steal the Master Emerald, or from villains catching the heroes by surprise. Or just to keep the fans away. Luckily, Christmas had one of those, in case of emergencies. You know, with his parents being doctors and that.

Christmas' parents lived a little while from the city, in the quiet and calm suburbs, so different to the noisy bustling city of Station Square, so the trio got the bus there.
"So, where do you guys come from?" Christmas asked out of curiosity. "I'm from Spagonia," Blue proudly stated, "I moved here not too long ago, after the six-month war, and that's when I met Puro. If one thing's for sure, there's not many of us around here, so when I saw Puro sitting by herself on the swing set in the park, I just had to introduce myself." Blue explained, giving Puro a smile, Puro returning it. "Yes, and I myself am from Sunset City, but I was moved here during the war as that was one of the most hit places. My Mum, Dad, and brother still live there though. They were soldiers, and my brother was too young to come live with me in the city," Puro explained, and the wolf nodded. "I guess that just leaves me." He began shyly, "I was adopted by my parents now, Benjamin and Jennifer when I was about 5. They've been the best to me and I'm so thankful to have them. There's nothing more to really say, I guess." He finished just as the bus turned down a street, and he pressed the stop button. "This is the street," he explained as the bus halted to a stop, the three getting off, Puro thanking the driver.
The street itself was quite empty, with only a few houses on each side, the fresh country smell of Spring in the air. Turning into one of the gardens, Blue and Puro just had to marvel at the beauty of the garden. Someone had clearly spent a lot of time on the bed teaming with wildflowers, all smelling sweet. The grass was kinda long and wild-looking itself, and sheltered by some hedgerows was a small pond, butterflies lazily drifting through the air. Christmas led them to a door, and to the two's surprise, the house was incredibly modern looking.

A man stood by the sink didn't even turn around as he addressed his son. "Hey, kid! Your mom's still at work so it's takeaway tonight, you know I can't cook to save my life," he joked as he finally turned to face them, gasping and almost dropping the plate he was washing, a large grin spreading from ear to ear.
"Christmas, you made some friends! Come in, come in! I'm so proud of you kid!"
