Sonic woke for a second time that day. He wasn't sure how he'd fallen unconscious, but he took a guess that he'd been sedated again.

Looking around at his new surroundings, he guessed he was in some sort of basement. The walls and ceiling was painted a dark grey, towards one side their was also a clothes washer and dryer, the latter humming to itself, water and clothes splashing around inside, the other side having some sort of gaming setup. The back of the room had a window right at the top, blocked by thick metal bars.
And at the front of course was a wooden staircase leading to the upstairs, and,

A door.

And it was open ajar.

"Haha! I'm outta here! See ya suckers!" Sonic exclaimed rushing towards it, feeling the rush of freedom, only for his arms to sharply be pulled back, the rest of his body following.
"Wha.." Looking at his wrists, they both had a large metal cuff on them, the two having an equally thick chain both leading to a point on the floor.
"Ah come on! You're killing me," Now that he was stood up, he turned to see a wooden stool, a glass of water and jug, and a blanket within his reach. Well, at least they're not completely barbaric he shrugged.

The door behind him opened to reveal the man from earlier, along with a younger boy. Sonic assumed that he was his son.

"Look son! I finally have him, the world's hero, under lock and key," George boasted, the teen continuing down the stairs.
"Sure, whatever dad," he shuffled over to the setup, booting it up.

"Hey! So your the one that started all of this? What do you even want me for? Can't be that important?" Sonic smirked. Surely after paying that much for the bounty he'd make sure that he'd be kept in proper conditions.
"You've got to be having a laugh. You sir, are the world's most powerful being. You're simply amazing. And worth a lot of money. Think as yourself as my little trophy. You represent just how powerful I can be with my money."
Sonic growled under his breath, "So what? You're going to keep me locked away for as long as I live? You can't just do that" he shouted.
"Oh, but I can, and I will. And you're powerless to stop me," he taunted, "And, when I get bored of showing you to people, you'll probably make a nice fur cloak,"
Angered, Sonic ran at the man, only to be held back by his chains.

"Yeah, yeah. Try that. I'm sure it will work eventually," George taunted one last time, leaving Sonic to try to pull his way free.

This went on for the next few hours. He'd ran, pulled, tripped, and yelled his throat course, annoyed that freedom was just there, just beyond his reach.
A few times the teen had turned around and muttered something at him, something about their being to much background noise and that his viewers might get suspicious of it.
This time! He'd told himself, ignoring the kid, before leaping through the air, only to be stopped again, this time feeling his left arm dislocate.

But that didn't stop him from trying. A few times servants had been down and raised an eyebrow at him, to which he had returned. And then of course there was still that teen playing on his computer, streaming with his background blurred.
"Hey you! You gonna introduce yourself or what?" He'd yelled over, but the boy ignored him.

Eventually, he exhausted himself and had to stop, laying on his side looking at the door, never taking his eyes of it. He had to find some way to get to it.

The floor was made of cold hard concrete, and was incredibly uncomfortable. Not long after he'd stopped, a maid walked down the stairs carrying a bowl of something. To Sonic's surprise, she'd knelt down besides him, placing the large bowl on the floor, and she continued to stare at him.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Sonic questioned.
"You sure are an amazing looking critter," she commented, before looking back down at the bowl.
"Master wanted me to bring you some food, it's Mac & Cheese,"
It does look and smell good, Sonic thought, but what if there's something in it? And so he gave the woman a look.
"It's not poisoned, I promise. Here, look," she took a piece and ate it, Sonic convinced enough to eat the entire bowl full.
"Well, of all places I have been held captive, this is by far the best," Sonic joked, earning a weird look from the maid.
Bur deep down, he was quite concerned about the outside world.
It won't take long for Eggman to notice my absence. If I don't get out of here, there's going to be no world to save.
