Gathered around the small rectangular kitchen table, the three chatted about stuff. Not just how they planned on stopping Eggman's schemes, but also about each other, getting to know one another.
Meanwhile, the man sat watching the three talk amongst themselves, feeling like the proudest father in the world.
His name was Benjamin, Ben for short, and he was Christmas' father. He was quite tall, with messy brown hair and was wearing your typical attire, a t-shirt and shorts. He smiled ear to ear, when the doorbell sounded from down the corridor.
"That'll be food, kids." Ben headed towards the door, leaving the trio alone.
"Ok," Blue started, "Keeping Egghead in his place. Shouldn't be that hard, there's three of us, and only in of him." Blue realized.
"And all those Eggman robots," Christmas shivered. He'd seen enough Eggman attacks to know the drill by now. They were sudden, scary, and most certainly dangerous. But despite how sudden the fight would be, Sonic always showed up. It's almost like he knew the mad man's mind.
"But you saw Blue today. He was amazing! I think that we can handle a few attacks until the G.U.N. sort all this out," Puro confidently stated.
"Who would've ever guessed Sonic would have had a bounty placed on him?" Christmas said, and Blue slowly nodded. "No one, that's why everyone was so confused. But it's so obvious on the other hand."
That was when Ben had walked in, "What's this about Sonic?" He asked them, Puro and Christmas turning to Blue.
"You gotta keep quiet, no telling the public?"
Blue eyed him, and Ben held a hand to his heart, "Cross my heart and hope to die," he joked as Christmas rolled his eyes.
"Sonic is being tracked by bounty hunters. That's why we haven't seen him, he's hiding."
Ben looked shocked, before nodding. "Yes, I can see why. I'm that little hedgehog's doctor, and I've seen him and his friends do some incredible stuff up close. Stuff that only we could ever dream about,"
"Like what?" Blue excitedly asked, and the three seemed to edge closer to where Ben had just seated himself.
"Well, for starters," Ben started dishing out the Chinese food, "I need to know if any of you have any dietary requirements, it's my duty as a doctor."
"I'm Vegetarian," Blue answered, "Now please, tell us more!"
"Ok, ok!" Ben laughed, "I remember once, Sonic was losing his powers, and it all seemed hopeless, but then his friends gathered those amazing emeralds, and I watched in amazement as they brought him back."
"Woah," they all said in unison, wide-eyed. "Hey! How come you never told me about this!" Christmas protested.
"I've heard the Chaos Emeralds can turn thought into power, and that they're not something to be toyed with, but I've only ever seen their powers from afar," Blue told, and Ben nodded.
"You'd be surprised by the number of times Sonic actually comes round here. You guys only see the good side of it. The victory. But more often than not, he'll come to me after these battles with bruises and bumps and cuts, but he's always smiling, throughout it all. Says that getting a scar is the fun of being a hero."
Blue nodded again, "That's why I look up to him. He always chooses to smile, no matter what. He taught me so much about life, and enjoying every second of it," he admitted.
"Wait," Puro suddenly interrupted, and Ben passed everyone their food, "So Sonic's been here, right here, in this house!" She squeaked, and Ben nodded, pointing towards a large door. It looked like a typical front or back door, but why would they need it? They already had a massive patio.
"Through there, is a clinic just for you Möbians. Downstairs, there's a waiting room, a few doctor's rooms, and the newest addition, a small emergency surgery room. But upstairs, there are five patient rooms, mostly used for intensive care when they need more professional help." Ben explained.
"And that's how you ended up with me, right dad?" Christmas proudly told, and Ben nodded in agreement.

"I meet him once." Blue finally said, "It was a few years ago, in Spagonia. When the world was split apart..."

Two Years Ago:

Blue has just finished his late-night errands and had begun to walk away from the little store a corner away from the University. That was when he heard a noise coming from down the small dark alleyway. Crashing and yelling, sounded like a fight. Intrigued, Blue ran round to investigate. He was not prepared in the slightest for what he saw.
It was some sort of a creature... no! A werewolf... Blue had read about those in a book. Being a dragon hybrid, it wasn't too hard for him to understand that Möbian mythical creatures exist.
This one was fending off some of those spirit things that had been bothering the townspeople in the night. Some even seemed possessed by them!
If what Blue had read was accurate, these were Dark Gaia minions- tiny parts of Dark Gaia's energy in a sentient form. When defeated, the power would return to Dark Gaia.
When finished, the creature looked in his direction, smiled, and walked over on two legs.
Blue recognized that cocky smirk anywhere. He'd seen it on newspapers, in books, on the tv, and his eyes grew wide in realization.
"Sonic? Is that you?"
"You, recognized me?" The gruff voice answered with. "Well, that's a first with the townsfolk." He then muttered to himself.
"You're a werewolf?" Blue asked still in surprise.
"Apparently so, yeah." He shrugged.
"Sonic! There are more Gaia Minions down here!" A voice sounded. A voice Blue didn't recognize.
"Ok," The hero called after the new voice, before turning back to Blue. "Hey, keep going kiddo! You got this," And then he was gone. Even in a different form, he was still quite speedy.

Blue had no idea what he meant by what he had said, but it was enough to inspire him for the next coming years.
