A Vampire and a Werewolf (Daminette) Fanfic 2: My Story

Patrol with Squad M

Marinette
It was almost time for us to leave and meet up at our usual place, Joe's Bar. He's a vampire and has been saved by us so he's paying us back by lending his shop to us as cover. It's not too far away from where we live...but we use our abilities to get there faster so it's hard to tell. We waved Jerry, Emilie and Titus goodbye and left closing the door. We walked down the stairs to see Adrien waiting at the bottom.

Adrien: I just felt like stoping by. Want a lift to work?

Damian: Agreste. Very rare of you to offer, any particular reason?

Marinette: Maybe Zoe put him in a good mood. *smirks*

Adrien: *blushes* Do you want the lift or not?

Marinette: *giggles* Sure, sunshine boy.

Damian and I stood near to Adrien as his magic circle appeared beneath us. Within a flash, we were outside the bar. One of a devil's abilities are teleportation so it's nice to have a devil around. We walked in to see everyone at their assigned tables. The three of us walked over to our table and sat down; me and Dami next to Nathaniel and Adrien next to Kagami and Luka. Soon after, Mr. Charlie walked in with a binder in his hand.

Mr. Charlie: Hey gang, here's the report thus far. Nothing much has shown up but that doesn't stop you guys from going on patrol. I'll be placing you all in your respective quadrants in Gotham. Find anything, report in and we'll send reinforcements. Alright, listen up!
Squad L: Downtown.
Squad A: Mid city
Squad M: Mountains
Without further ado, get on it.

Marinette: *sigh* We always get the mountain side..

Kagami: They're giving us the hardest territory which means we're probably the most dangerous and powerful squad here.

Adrien: She's got a point.

Nathaniel: I've got the map out of the mountain side.

Third person
Nathaniel opened his hand and a holographic representation of the mountains were shown. He moved his fingers as the map would move in response shifting the perspective of the mountains. He stopped at a position in the mountains that was rather a little less populated by trees.

Nathaniel: I suggest we start here then make our way further in. Once we get closer to the forest, I'll be able to scan the area more thoroughly and get a better sense of the little details on the inside.

Damian: Ok, so what are we waiting for?

Luka: Well for one thing, for you to calm down, Damian.

Marinette: Squad, let's move out!

The six of them paired up in pairs assigned by Mr. Charlie as well as the other squads to help them and all the other squads with team building and bonded. So Marinette was paired with Nathaniel, Damian with Kagami, and Luka with Adrien. Thanks to Adrien they arrived there in a second and so they parted ways going deeper and deeper into the forest on the mountains.

Ladybug and Cockerel
The two were moving fast but were also keeping a close eye out for anything out of the ordinary. They stopped once Ladybug sensed something.

Cockerel: Is something wrong?

Ladybug: Something seems off. Watch your back.

He nodded and they continued. They jumped and dodged through the trees, running and hiding in the cover of darkness. They stopped, Ladybug sensing something again. She placed her hand on the ground they stood on.

Ladybug: Cockerel, scan the area. But this time, do a heat signature scan instead of biorhythms.

He did as he was told but before he could finish, the ground shook. There was an explosion near central city and a building collapsed downtown. Ladybug felt a shiver down her spine grabbed Cockerel and flew up, dodging swords that were thrown at them. Sh*t!

Robin and Ryuko
The two were running, Robin in his werewolf. He sniffed a path for the two of them, his black fur shining under the moon. Ryuko followed and at the same time, they stared at each other. They ran in the same direction, their instincts pulling them.

Robin: You're sensing that too, right?

Ryuko: There's no doubt that we're not alone in this forest.

They continued and stopped in a clearing in the forest. Robin sniffed the ground while Ryuko check their surroundings. A few minutes later the ground shook, an explosion went off and a building collapsed. They both jumped out of the way, Robin transforming into his human form, dodging the arrows that were shot at them.

Cat Noir and Viperion
Viperion flew between the trees while Cat Noir tread carefully behind him. They weren't particularly in a rush. Viperion landed next to Adrien.

Viperion: Someone's here.

Adrien: I don't really sense anyone. But I do have the chills.

Luka: And I don't think it's just one person. Maybe we shouldn't stop in one place for too long.

Adrien: You're right, lets keep moving. We have an hour til we have to meet with everyone else.

They continued, picking up the pace. They were now standing on the tallest tree, looking over the entire mountain. They then saw a building fall, an explosion and finally felt the aftermath of the mountain shaking. Immediately after, the tree came falling down, Viperion grabbing Chat's hand then landing on the ground.
