Third person
Marinette had left the two in the room for about 5 minutes now. They haven't spoken or looked at each other. Nathaniel sketched in his notebook as Marc hid his face in his knees.

Marinette: These two can't be serious...

Nathaniel looked up from his book and decided to break the awkward silence between them.

Nathaniel: So...uh...have you finished your book yet?

Marc: Oh u-uh....not yet. Almost...

Nathaniel: Your face is red, are you catching a cold or something?

Marinette: Nathaniel are you stupid or something!? He's obviously blushing...! *groans while internally screaming*

Marc: No, no. I'm fine.

Marinette: Oh! Hurry up already!!

Nathaniel: Umm...if you w-want...would you like to see my drawings..just to pass the time?

Marc: *lifts head a bit* S-Sure...

Nathaniel got up and sat next to him and showed him his comics, flipping through the pages. Marc's head shot up in amazement at how good his drawings were. They were only sketches, no color or fine/finished lines but he could see everything like if it were. "The lines, the brushstrokes, the shading of the pencil, it's all so clear. There is a lot of feeling and emotion flowing from it. It's almost as if it were...alive..-"

He covered his mouth as he began to ramble. Nathaniel turned to him, surprised at what he said; how he knew so much about drawings if he's only a writer. They looked at each other for a few seconds until both their eyes glimmered, Nathaniel's purple and Marc's red again. Marc jumped, turning away and scooting away from him, his back facing Nathaniel as he buried his head in his jacket.

Nathaniel just sat there with a tint of blush on his cheeks he then looked at the door and saw Marinette through the window with a thumbs up, smiling. He furrowed his brows as Marinette took it as a sign to move. After all there were only 3 minutes left. Marinette rolled herself away near the edge of the steps as she called Damian to help her. Damian simply sighed as they went to their room.

Nathaniel took a deep breath before walking over to Marc and rested his hand on his shoulder. He didn't respond. He felt his shivering and twitching all over as if he were scared. Nathaniel sighed as he got up stooped in front of him, tilting his head to try to find his face. He came closer and began to slide the hood off his head. He still didn't budge.

Nathaniel: Hey, c'mon now, you can't hide your face forever in there. Look, I'm a bit startled by this too, but a wise person once told me, 'There's no changing the fact that you're a vampire and that I'm a devil and that we're soulmates'. We just have to pull through it, k?

Marc: I-I...I'll try...

Nathaniel pulled down the zipper to reveal his face hidden inside his jacket. His entire face was red. Nathaniel helped him up and smiled. "Now this makes us more than just partners when it comes to writing. How about after training, we start that book?" He rose a brow and and Marc nodded. "Ok, I'll ask Marinette..-"

Marinette: You don't need my permission to go out with your soulmate. Feel free to galavant all you want.

Nathaniel: How long were you two standing there?

Damian: Trust me, not that long.

Marinette: I'm so happy for you two. I'll leave it up to you two to tell the others when you're ready. And congrats to you Marc, you're half way through the lessons. I gave Nathaniel a little itty bitty scratch on his leg before I left and a little blood came out. You composed yourself pretty well. Now that you can resist your soulmates blood, time for the real challenge.
