Kakoyin stirs the vanilla cake batter, Y/n hugs his waist from behind and asks "Whatcha making?"

He replies "I want to make a vanilla cake with cherries decorating the outer rim of the top, and cream in between the two layers with hidden strawberries".

He picks up the whisk and wipes his finger down one of the spines, he offers his finger to her and asks "Open wide".

Y/n smiles and licks his finger, she says "Wow, did you add sugar into the cream?" Kakoyin nods and replies "Only a little" He makes a hand gesture of the tiny amount he used.

He asks "Is it good?", Y/n smirks and replies flirtatiously "Your cream always tastes good".

Kakoyin rests a hand over his face in embarrassment and says with a shy smile "Don't say things like that".

《Y/n's POV》
I giggle watching my flustered husband, letting him go, I say "Alright, want me to dice the strawberries?" He nods and continues stirring.

I bring out the chopping board and one by one cut the fruit.

Kakoyin takes my waist, he moves around me happily and digs into the bottom of the pantry for cake trays.

He pours his first batter into the first tray and prepares the second.

I scoop up the diced strawberries and pop them in a bowl in the fridge to wait along with the whipped cream.

Kakoyin wraps an arm around my waist and says "Let's go relax".

I sit on his back as he does press ups in the lounge, I ask "How was work today?" He replies "It was fun, I got to hang out afterwards at Jotaro's house to teach him how to play video games again".

I say "Your friend Polnereff shoved French bread in our mailbox for a prank this morning when you left, he said it's like that one Wallace and Gromit movie".

Kakoyin asks in a strained voice "Were you angry?" I reply "No, I think it's kind of funny, on the bright side, we got free bread".

I get off his back and say "I think the oven's alarm went off".

He sighs and falls onto his back exhausted.

We take out the trays of vanilla sponge cake layers and rest them on the bench.

I check the fridge and say "The cream isn't ready yet".

I turn to the red head behind me, I smirk and pull his belt, Kakoyin grunts and rests his hands on the door of the now closed fridge, he asks "Everything alright?"

I say "We have time don't we?" He asks nervously "What?", I say "You know, time for us, alone, if you want".

Kakoyin smiles and says "We could if you want, but I am a tiny bit tired..."

I kiss his lips and reply happily "That's why you will be on the bottom sweetheart".

He follows behind me, holding my hand, he says blushfully "I love you" I reply "Love you too cherry boy".
