I want to hold you close to me.
No one seems to know what that means.
You'd think they'd pick up on us
As I sent you my clothes but thus,
They didn't.
Maybe they're in denial,
And referencing the bible,
Hoping for an answer.
A different meaning when I say I love her.
Their perfect little
Church going daughter,
Just wants them to accept:
That I tried to pretend for them,
But now I'm never going back.
