The dear, bittersweet feeling when you finally said to let go.

The final nail in the coffin, forever closing the door,

Sends a gust if wind too big to ignore.

It chilled my bones, and blew out the flame.

In the end I believe, there's no one to blame.

But I'll always look back fondly at the day,

you sent me a letter and swore you would wait.
