A/N: Hi guys. You all have no idea how much I have missed the joy of writing again. I am so sorry for the long break, I have been having my own struggles lately but I am overcoming them :)! Enjoy this chapter and feel free to reread to refresh your mind :) Enjoy!
"Okay, I'm back!" Izuku said to you as he opened the door of your hospital room. Seemed like no matter what you did nowadays you always ended up back in here because of the people you thought were your loved ones or because of your own damn destructiveness. This time it was both huh?
You stopped combing your fingers through your now new silver hair as he came over to sit at the chair next to the bed. "I brought blankets and a way more comfortable pillow for you! And your favorite snacks because hospital food sucks," he said as he set everything down for you, smiling.
"Thank you," you smiled back softly at him as he turned around.
He pushed your hair back as he softly kissed your head. "No problem, love," he whispered as he pulled away. His fingers twirled around your new hair as he softly smiled at its new color.
You pulled your head back as you went to put it up and out of your face so you couldn't see it or have it crown your face. "It's different I know-" You whispered as he shook his head.
"It's beautiful," he whispered as you still proceeded to put your hair up quickly. He softly took your hand so it could fall back down. He knew the way you felt about your new appearance. How you would now be forever reminded of this day. He saw it when he first came back to the room and saw you looking at the camera on your phone, devastation in your silver eyes. But Izuku Midoriya still thought-
"I still believe you're beautiful. You've always been so beautiful to me. Since the first day we met." He whispered, his hand laying on your cheek just under your eye to admire its new change as well.
"It's such a big change, Izuku," you said so softly, your voice cracking as he saw tears begin to build up in your eyes.
He shook his head, a small laugh escaping his throat as he got up to sit on your bed. "Change can be beautiful, darling." He said so sweetly that the tears spilled from your eyes without your permission, "No matter the situation or even hairstyle, you're still the same person I fell in love with-"
You didn't allow him to finish as you quickly looked away, pulling your face away from his hand as his eyebrows furrowed from how uncomfortable you seemed to become. Your body tensed, you lost all full contact, and you just sniffle and wiped your own tears quickly.
"I hear you," you whispered, eyes still avoiding his as you just went to hold his hand. "How long do I stay here?"
He shook off the abnormal reaction as his thumb coursed back and forth on your skin. "Just until Recovery Girl comes back to clear you. She's just making sure everything is alright with you," he rolled up his sleeves to check the time as you glanced back at him. "She left around um-' That's when your eyes caught it. His arms.
He must have taken off the bandages on his fingers and arms because now you were able to see just how deep the burns from your lightning were on his skin. "Your arm," you gasped, quickly rolling his sleeve up more to fully see his arm. You saw the lightning-shaped burns. The red, blue, and purple bruises and burns on them as you winced, lightly dragging your shaking finger over the wounds.
You did this. You hurt him. The only person that has always truly been there for you and you did this to him?
"Oh, it's nothing," he quickly pulled his arm out of your hold as he saw the shocked, hurt look on your face.
"Give me your arm Izuku," you pleaded, eyebrows furrowed.
Izuku has done nothing but love and care for you and now you're hurting him? With this damn quirk. This damn darkness and destructiveness in you.
