Hermione, who had returned home, slumped onto her bed to think about the magical moment that had transported her like never before! She couldn't put into words the experience she had just had, but she knew that at that moment she was happy. However, she wondered how Draco could have concluded that she had feelings for him. What had she forgotten? She preferred not to remember in case it was too bold an event, not appropriate for her temperament. Although... She admitted she wasn't the calmest of people when provoked, which is why she feared the worst. But why think about it, when one had just been kissed by the boy who made her heart beat a thousand times an hour? A sudden heat took possession of all her being, without her understanding anything. She sat down, breathed, and slowly closed her eyes, trying to remember the kiss. But she changed her mind as soon as she saw the blonde boy's face appear. Hermione stood up abruptly, running her hands through her tangled hair. She had to get that kiss out of her head at all costs! How could she? No, this was not the answer.
She did not understand what was happening to her. She felt bad, but at the same time she had deep joy, remorse and fear inside her. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to think about what had just happened with the Slytherin. But was it real? She was sure he had kissed her, but why? She didn't dare imagine the reason for such an act, she didn't want to give herself false hopes. But she was so secretly happy that she wanted to laugh, to jump for joy and to feel an immense sense of satisfaction inside her. Because he had been there, and he had... kissed her.
Lost in the thread of her thoughts, the young woman smiled but soon resumed her morose expression. What was the point of thinking about it? It was not the solution. Their fates were not crossed, they had so many differences!
Hermione sank back into her bed and closed her eyes, hoping to find peace. "Peace!" she thought wryly. She sighed. Tonight there would be no dinner and no "Good night daddy, good night mommy!". She will fall asleep with an empty stomach and a confused mind.

- Malfoy?!
Hermione had just landed, without really knowing how, a few feet away from the tall blond.
- What... what are you doing here?
The Slytherin couldn't see her, couldn't hear her... He was walking alone, an expression that manifested like destitution. As he barely managed to lift his legs, he almost tripped over a stone that had come in his way. Hermione couldn't hold back a scream, taking a step forward in hopes of preventing the eventual fall. Draco stopped short, puzzled, as if he had just heard something. As if he had just heard her! But he sighed as he ran his hand over his face:
- I can hear her everywhere...
To hear? Who? Was he talking about Hermione? She wondered. She turned around to try and see where he was going and saw Hogwarts glowing behind its lights. The Gryffindor didn't understand; why was he going there?
But she decided to follow him, keeping a considerable distance between them. She followed his steps, and watched him from afar, like a guardian angel. At this precise moment, she was not thinking about anything. She was content to look at him and to follow him. Until he stopped abruptly. The young woman felt a wave of fear run through her body and her breathing quickened. Turning a corner to see what could stop Draco, she let out a small scream: she thought she saw Voldemort standing at the entrance to the wizarding school. The black figure vanished and...

Hermione woke up with a start. It was thirty-five minutes past midnight. Her heart was still racing and jerking. Accompanied to that, a disgruntled stomach that one did not take care of him. And he wasn't shy about letting it be known with strange sounds. The Gryffindor took a deep breath and tried to regain her senses, which was quite difficult since her head hurt a lot, as if she had just received blows from a sledgehammer on her skull.
