Baseball x Nickel... The Shimmers Align.

Nickel's pov

"Ughhhhhhhh," I said in annoyance out loud, I didn't quite notice at first that it had even been out loud. Balloon who was sitting inches away from me turned to face me. He opened his mouth to speak but said nothing. It was me, him, and Tea Kettle on the team now. I've been unstable and crying for the last few days. Balloon knows exactly what issue I'm having, he's been having the same issue with Suitcase. 

He thinks I didn't pick up on his love of Suitcase. "Nickel, I'm sure Baseball is waiting for us to get back to him, please don't cry about not being near him," Balloon said in a stern way and gave me a look. I gave him an annoyed look before I got up and stormed off. I kicked many blades of grass and tiny rocks on my way to who knows where.

 Balloon just doesn't understand, he hasn't known Suitcase for nearly as long as me and Baseball. I look up at the sky and see the stars in an arrow shape. They point in a direction of who knows what. Above the arrow of stars is a picture of me and a second arrow pointing to the first arrow. 

"Do you want me to do go that way stars?" I asked expecting an answer. I waited for a few minutes for an answer before realizing, those are stars, they can't answer my questions. I looked around me to see if anyone spotted me, no one did. I needed to find a way to follow the arrow! I needed to know what it was pointing to. I searched for a way across the water for an hour, but I couldn't find one. 

Baseball's pov

I sat alone yet again, it's always been more of the same! Suitcase would try to cheer me up sometimes but I'd just walk away. She has her own issues, she shouldn't waste her energy on someone like me. Neither of us has seen Balloon or Nickel in a while. I asked her yesterday if she knew anything about it because it was starting to worry me. She replied telling me that Balloon hadn't said a word about leaving.

 I jokingly said they were cheating on us but Suitcase didn't laugh. I don't know if she even got that it was a joke. Suitcase and I haven't talked since the joke, she's been crying and Lightbulb's been working on getting her to talk. I look up at the sky tonight, it's clear with no clouds in sight. The stars are scattered around the sky, it's very bright tonight! "I wish you were here Nickel," I said out loud to myself. 

I closed my eyes to go to sleep but quickly opened them when I heard an unfamiliar noise. I sighed and tried to go to sleep, the noise was probably just someone in a bush or something, nothing too out of the ordinary. A few minutes had passed and the noise was still happening. I quickly opened my eyes but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. "Ooh, what are the stars doing?" Lightbulb asked as she awoke. 

I looked up expecting it to be nothing. Lightbulb was always the chaotic one, she'd say she saw the stars moving before but when anyone looked, it wasn't happening. When I looked up the stars were indeed moving, they were even making a shape. They quickly formed an arrow pointing to the water around the island. They drew a picture of me as well, the picture of me pointed to the mysterious arrow. 

What could the stars have been pointing to? I needed to find out somehow! I quickly got up and ran to Lightbulb, knowing I wasn't gonna sleep tonight! She watched the stars the whole time they did their thing. "Lightbulb, I need your help," I said hesitantly. She smiled, "What is it you need help with?". "I need help finding what the stars are pointing to!" I said in a rushed way. Lightbulb didn't stand up, instead, she pointed to the sky.

 I looked up to see some stars moving again. They moved in a way to illustrate Lightbulb and Suitcase. Great, we needed Suitcase's help, that wasn't gonna happen. I panicked, "How are we gonna get Suitcase's help?". "Hm, Suitcase!" Lightbulb screamed as loud as she could. Suitcase quickly ran over.
