Nabla's POV
Alef. He was being him, doing him things again. I'm so sick and tired of it! He yells at me all the time. I cry every day because of him! I sat by the water and let tears fall down my face. Why was he like this? Always so rude to me and Glue. I wish he could just leave us alone. I heard footsteps behind me. "Alef, leave me alone." I groaned. I felt a hand on my shoulder and decided to look up. It was Glue! "Hey, Nabla. What's wrong?" She asked, sweeping tears off my face with her thumb. "It's-"
"Aleph."
"Oof, I guess it became predictable!"
"Yep!"
Glue and I laughed for a few seconds before Glue continued talking. "What happened?"
"Just him being him again."
Glue and I looked each other in the eyes until Glue hugged me tightly. I hugged her back softly with my eyes closed and I was shocked by what happened next. She told me that she loved me... I was so happy! I whispered to her "I love you too." I opened my eyes as Glue let me go slowly. I saw Alef behind Glue, giving me a thumbs up. "H-hold on Glue, I'll be right back, I have something I need to take care of," I said to my newfound love. I strolled over to Alef, who started clapping when I stopped. "What are you doing, idiot?!" I ask in annoyance.
"You're welcome," he says normally.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I ask in confusion.
"I set this up for you, Nabs. I knew Glue loved you and since I made you cry I figured she should comfort you," he says normally.
"R-really..? Th-thank you," I say in shock.
I pulled Alef in for a hug and he hugged me back. "Have fun with her Nabs," he says normally.
"I will. Thank you so so so so much, Alef.." I say happily.
