3rd Person POV
Bottle hasn't been herself recently. Her voice is raspy and it sounds like she has something stuck in her throat. Alongside that, constant coughing and sniffling. Tree was worried about his love. He hated seeing people close to him in a condition like this. They had a challenge today, so Tree went over to Bottle and asked if they could talk. Bottle agreed as Tree sat in front of her with pain in each other's eyes. "Look, Bottle. I know you love doing challenges and preventing death but you look extremely sick. Please, rest for this challenge and I'll-"
"No, no. (cough) I'll be fine..~" Bottle cut Tree off, covering her mouth with her right arm. Tree decided to pick Bottle up anyways and brought her to bed. "N-no, Tree, really, I'm fine."
"Please rest. I hate seeing you in this poor, poor condition."
"As long as it makes you happy."
"It does."
Tree walked off to get medicine for Bottle but stopped at the doorway. "Don't go anywhere. I'll be right back." A few minutes had gone by. Bottle was half asleep waiting for Tree to come back. She saw his green hair and immediately thought to herself. "He's finally back." Tree had a medkit, a water bottle, and a mask over his mouth and nose. He walked over to her bed and sat next to her, opening the medkit and pulling out a thermometer. Bottle let Tree put it in her mouth until they heard a beep. 101.7.
"Bottle... Alright, well, I got some medicine for you, and here's a bottle of water. I love you. Take care." Tree walked off and upon exiting the building, he felt pain in his eyes as tears flowed down his face. It was just a cold. Why was he crying? It can be healed ad there's a small chance she dies. A small chance... Tree waited a few days, but it still felt like years. One morning when Tree woke up, he found Bottle in the kitchen. She looked at him, smiled and said in her normal voice, "Thank you."
