Percy POV
"Percy?"
"Annabeth!" I shouted happily.
I sensed someone running towards me and felt someone throwing themselves onto me.
"Oh my gosh, Percy. I thought we would be separated for a long time!" Annabeth hugged me tightly.
"Me too, Annie, me too." I smiled.
Suddenly, as if my world had turned upside down, and felt the air rush out of my lungs.
"Really, Annabeth? You don't have to judo-flip me every time we meet." I groaned.
"That was for dying too fast." Annabeth huffed. "And why is there a piece of fabric on your face?"
I sighed.
Even though I know I would have to explain this to Annabeth sooner or later, I couldn't help but wishing I could skip that part.
Dejectedly, I told Annabeth everything that happened starting from Annabeth's death.
"Percy..."
I felt Annabeth's hands against my face, her thumb touching the fabric on my face. I felt her thumb pressuring slightly against the fabric, and moving away. I heard a quiet sniffling sound.
"Don't cry. It's fine." I wiped away the tears on her cheeks. "At least you are with me."
"I love you, Percy." Annabeth hugged me.
Helgi cleared his throat behind me.
"Oh right. Sorry Helgi. Ummm... I think Annabeth can show me the way. Here. You can have this." I scratched my neck.
"Did you actually help Loki?"
"Yes. It was another Loki though." I assured him.
"Oh thank goodness." Helgi breathed
"Take it. It's for bringing me here." I smiled and handed Helgi a candy bar that I had in my pocket for some reason.
"Thank you so much, Percy! Call me whenever you need me!" Helgi gasped and then, I sensed him walking away, clutching the candy bar as if it was his last meal.
"Alright, Seaweed Brain. Grab onto my shoulders and I'll lead you to your room." Annabeth instructed.
"Yes ma'am." I saluted and placed my hands on Annabeth's shoulder.
Annabeth led on a flight of stairs and through a very long corridor. Finally, we stopped. I heard Annabeth opening a door then felt her pushing me inside.
I set out my senses. The room doesn't seem that big, with some furniture inside.
"Alright, Seaweed Brain. I could kill right now for dying so fats, but I wouldn't. Actually, you'd just respawn in your room, but never mind. Oop. Here comes Magnus." Annabeth said.
I sensed someone coming in. Must be Magnus, because I immediately heard him stumble over something.
"Hi Percy!" Magnus greeted me.
"Hi, Magnus!" I smiled.
"Why do you have a fabric on your face?" Magnus asked.
I sighed.
"Errr... I'll tell you that later."
"Alright. Did Annabeth explain the... well... features of Valhalla to you yet?"
"I respawn. Does that count?"
"Yeah. If you die in Valhalla, you respawn in your room later on. If you die outside, you'd probably go to your Greek afterlife. If I died outside, I'd go to Helhiem. So don't die outside. Also, Thursday, we fight dragons. Everyday, we have a little war game before lunch. Everything the vikings do is to death, so I don't recommend going to any classes." Magnus explained.
