Narrator POV

Sylvie and the group walked into the house and each took a seat, with Magnus, Sam and Alex the furthest away from Sylvie.

"How is Loki?" Sylvie leaned in.

"Errrr..." Percy hesitated.

"He was captured, right?" Sylvie asked and Percy nodded.

Sylvie sighed.

"I told him specifically don't go out and the next thing he does? Get himself captured." Sylvie rubbed her temples.

"Wait wait wait wait wait. Isn't Loki's wife Sigyn?" Magnus interrupted.

"That's what I asked." Sam crossed her arms.

"Yes. Sigyn is Loki's wife. But it's the other Loki I'm worried about. Your father has possessed my husband." Sylvie explained impatiently.

"Alright. Loki said we would need... what was it? A mead?" Percy scratched his head.

"The Kvasir's Mead. And no. You don't need that. I believe if Loki is actually trying to help, you will be able to stop them both without the mead." Sylvie said.

"I'm so confused. Are you and your husband Loki from a different universe?" Sam asked.

"I am. Loki is not. My husband Loki is part of a soul. He is good. Your father, however, isn't." Sylvie replied.

"Alright. And the time limit?" Percy nodded.

"Probably two days. He's gathered all the resources he needs."

"He also said something about muse." Percy recalled.

"The Nine Muses?" Annabeth suggested.

"No. I'm pretty sure he meant Muspelheim. That;s probably where they are planning to go." Sylvie shook her head.

"This isn't right. It's too easy." Magnus replied.

"Shouldn't you be happy then?" Hearthstone signed.

"Nothing is too easy. This is a trap." Sam realized.

"What do you mean?" Percy asked.

"It was my f- the other Loki who appeared in your dream. He was the one who sent us on this pointless quest. He knows you and Annabeth are hard to defeat, so he sent you two away! Doesn't it make sense?" Sam explained. "No quest is this straightforward. Think about it. Only someone who wants you to make a detour will tell you exactly how to make one."

"Oh my gosh. You're right! We need to get back to Valhalla immediately." Annabeth snapped her fingers.

"Congratulations. You finally realized." A voice laughed behind them.
